This trader put everything on Spain and lost almost his entire bankroll because the match ended in a draw. When I checked his Polymarket profile, I found that he placed around $990k on Spain to win against Cape Verde. What makes this even crazier is that Cape Verde are...

🚨 Reporter asks Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha which country he will be supporting to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup after his heroic performance against Spain: 🎙️ Reporter: “Vozinha, after making seven saves against Spain and helping Cape Verde earn a historic result, if Cape Verde don’t go on to win the World Cup, which country would you like to see become champions?” 🗣️ Vozinha: “First of all, I hope Cape Verde can keep dreaming. We are here to compete and make our people proud. But if Cape Verde cannot win it, then I would choose Portugal.” 🎙️ Reporter: “Why Portugal?” 🗣️ Vozinha: “There are many connections between Cape Verde and Portugal. A lot of our people have family there, a lot of our footballers have played there and there is a strong bond between the two countries. I’ve always admired Portuguese football.” 🎙️ Reporter: “Is Cristiano Ronaldo part of the reason?” 🗣️ Vozinha: “Of course. Cristiano Ronaldo is an inspiration to every generation. What he has done for football is extraordinary. To still be competing at the highest level after all these years shows a mentality very few players have. He’s a role model for every professional footballer. If Cape Verde cannot lift the trophy, I would love to see Portugal win it and Cristiano Ronaldo finish his incredible international journey by lifting the FIFA World Cup.” 🎙️ Reporter: “So Cape Verde first, Portugal second?” 🗣️ Vozinha: “Always. Cape Verde first. But if not us, then I hope Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo go all the way and win it”. {FIFA }

I have received several questions from people asking about visiting & investing in Cape Verde. Yes, Cape Verde is absolutely visa free for Nigerians. you only need a flight & hotel. You just need to pre register online for €30 around ₦50,000 before you travel. I will add the link below in the thread. You can also register at the airport with the immigration authorities and show your return ticket. In terms of accommodation, it is quite expensive. Decent Hotels can be up to €50 to €100 (₦160k) per night in the capital city Praia. There are very fancy restaurants as well as local Nigerian restaurants in the Sucupira area where you can find delicious Egusi & Okro. Except you are visiting from Switzerland, Cape Verde will give you one of the best vacations of your life due to the beauty and peaceful nature of the islands. I highly recommend renting a car and traveling to explore the islands 🌳🏔️. However, please note that Cape Verde can be very frustrating if you don’t speak Portuguese or their Kriolu dialect as almost nobody speaks English there. Even their supermarkets struggle with English. So for those who are going wife hunting, make sure your Portuguese is C1 level otherwise you are only going there to stare & come back to your Chioma & Zainabu 😮‍💨. As a woman, make sure your man does not visit Cape Verde without you oo. Toorh. 😂 It’s also good to note that Cape Verde is not a typical African vacation, it is very expensive, so be very ready to spend like you are on vacation in Europe. As for investors willing to buy properties, I have met foreigners who own a house over there and the procedure is quite easy as the country is very investor friendly, I can give you more information if needed. Finally, If you need a cheap and affordable hotel, we have a cozy AirBnB in the capital Praia for €50 per night (+- ₦78,000) . I will add the video to this thread and you can contact me for booking and probably discount whenever you are visiting. More rooms will be made available in the future. Cape Verde is one of the best countries I have ever visited. A proper retirement home. I hope to buy lands & build houses here. Cape Verde is the future 🇨🇻🫶🏽

🚨Pep Guardiola was asked about Lionel Messi’s performances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup ahead of Argentina’s final against Spain. 🎙️ Reporter: “Pep, Lionel Messi has once again been one of the standout players of the tournament at 39 years old and now has Argentina one win away from another World Cup. What have you made of his performances?” 🗣️ Pep Guardiola: “People keep asking me how Messi is still doing this at 39. My answer is always the same because football has never seen anyone like him. Age defeats everyone, but somehow it refuses to defeat Lionel Messi. “This World Cup has been another reminder that greatness is not only about speed or physical power. It’s about understanding the game better than everyone else. Leo sees football before it happens. That is why he continues to dominate the biggest matches. “I’ve had the privilege of coaching him, so I know what he is capable of. But even now, he still surprises me. Every touch has a purpose, every pass creates danger, and every decision he makes is the right one. He doesn’t need to run more than everyone else because he makes everyone else run for him. “What impresses me most is his football intelligence. His mind is always several seconds ahead of the defenders. By the time they realise what he has seen, the move is already finished. That isn’t something you can coach. It’s a gift. “People will talk about goals and assists, but Leo’s biggest quality has always been his ability to control matches. He decides the rhythm, he decides when to attack, when to slow the game down, and when to produce something extraordinary. Very few players in history have ever had that level of influence. “Now he has another World Cup final ahead of him against Spain. Finals are never easy, but if anyone can produce another magical moment on the biggest stage, it’s Lionel Messi. I’ve learned never to doubt him. “When people look back at this World Cup years from now, they should remember that at 39 years old, Messi wasn’t just participating—he was leading Argentina, inspiring a generation once again. For me, there has never been another player like him, and I don’t believe there ever will be.”
