It feels like everyone forgets that Knuckles has spikes on his fists. Like, even if he wasn't as physically strong as DK, his punches would be more damaging for that reason alone.

I do think that people often forget that knuckles is as strong as sonic is fast. He doesn't do much, but he is one of few characters fuck fuck over SUPER SONIC in base. DK doesn't stand a chance against someone who makes volcano's so casually.
