My cat used to claw at the keyboard of my laptops and then lay on them ('cause they're warm XD) and learned how to open them up even when closed!! Eventually had to store the laptop in a drawer just so he wouldn't ruin them!

Nah my son is a dignified man of respect. You can leave food out and he wouldn't back an eye.
