Ps apologies for the music 😬 I was sent the video by a friend who was sent it by a friend and so on. I’m on the case as to where/when it was but silly busy so will update all later. It got my mechanical sympathy going!

Very sad indeed, not only because they are beautiful machines but also because there is a storey behind each one of them. Once upon a time someone worked hard to buy what could have been their dream car.

There was a time when "Old Mercs" were nearly always restorable ( Particularly W123s) Sadly these are mostly post 85, Which feature electronic engine management and "economised built quality" Uneconomic and now unwanted....
