Timelapse for this panel! 🎨 Since the colors were decided in the previous scene, the whole coloring process feels like filling in a coloring book!😆 It kind of works like color styling in anime.🤔 Having the colors figured out beforehand really speeds up the workflow. If you have to draw things repeatedly, you guys should definitely try this out!

I found the sketch on Pinterest, and there wasn’t any copyright on it. I never said I drew it myself — I only colored it. These are the layers, and in the file you can see that I’m coloring on a separate layer so I have the freedom to change things or draw stuff over the frame. That’s something whoever wrote it’s AI probably wouldn’t know anything about coloring

Happy Final Space Friday! So I'm patiently waiting for notes and feedback from the test readers I sent out, they should come in next week. I gave everyone a week to digest it. Once I have those notes I'll have a good idea if we need to ink/ letter anything new or fix anything but for the most part all polish is pretty much done. Daz Tibbles for NOW has moved on to coloring part 8. Joe is still coloring the last pieces to Part 6 after that I'll move him to Part 7. On the soundtrack front, I'm starting to have conversation with the composers on how to best to time the songs based on how long it takes to read certain chapters. And then QR codes and all that fun that I've never done before. The good news the music is sounding awesome and it really does add to the whole experience. I'm also working up the back matter to the novel as well, all the behind the scenes pages in the back of the book. Also getting quotes from the printer for the black and white novels any days now. So lots of progress, I'm hoping the notes and feedback don't break anything too big but I think they will all really enjoy it. Anyways here is a new work in progress from Andrew Andrew Goodwin, I like this for the MASSIVE Part 6 but I gave him the note to tone it down in sections for the emotions part so were playing with how to make the music really stick to the pages with the high and lows. Scoring graphic novel pages is a new thing for us haha -Olan PRE-ORDER:

I hope they figured out how to use the Highwind. If there's one element I have missed in recent Final Fantasy titles it is flying the airship around in the overworld. If Xenoblade Chronicles X did it, Final Fantasy can do it.

Among the videos from your T1 days, there's one where you and Minhyung talking for an hour, right? How did that happen? ⚡️: That was when we were filming the Finals teaser. What city was it again? ⚡️: It was in the UK. ⚡️: It took us two or three hours by car to get there. The camera crew was with us too. Since they were filming us, it just happened naturally. 👤: So the cameraman just let it run on auto? I am doing an experiment to compare various UI framework in terms of how long it takes to *layout* the UI for one frame (average). I have basically the same UI implemented in all the frameworks, and they each have a mode where they are operated automatically in a way that stresses the layout code, and print out how long it took on average to layout frames. So far, Rust's egui seems to have shortest layout time among the immediate mode libraries. Rust's Iced has a lower average number, but I think it's more of a retained mode library. GPUI is relatively slow Flutter is on par with GPUI SwiftUI is the slowest of them all.
