🤣

doesn’t matter how long as long as they keep trying

Japan will succeed in this

19年前(2007).....。お金が無いの😅

😭😭😭

I’m Japanese, but I’ll say it straight: Japan is stuck in old ways of thinking and organizations, and it’s not rational. At all.

All I know is, I hope they all do really well! I love this whole renewed space race thing happening now as we watch huge rockets the size of small skyscrapers being caught on re-entry. The best part is, we as a species, are just getting warmed up! How cool is that?! 🤣

I have no hope of seeing Rocket return to Earth without exploding. 🔥🥰

at best 30 years

👀💀

日本はロケットでアメリカには勝てない 日本は何事も遅い そもそも、アメリカのロケット産業にElon Muskがいることが強い でも、日本も他の分野では素晴らしいとこは沢山あります

Japan's new H3 rocket is disposable, and still $20 million cheaper than a Falcon 9 ride. And to some orbits, it can ferry more cargo too. They are in no rush. Japan lands robots on 61,000mph asteroids and returns samples to earth, mmmkay?😂 SpaceX is just a taxi service to LEO.

Japan still still in development, while SpaceX are working expansion. I dont understand the comparison.

SpaceX Grasshopper was 2012-2014 yeah? @grok Almost 15 years ago, the video shows it was in 2019….👎

Sooner the better.

How long will it take Morocco? (let's see the rocket footage)

145 years

Not long…

Probably less time than SpaceX because the concept is already proven and most of the tech is open source. Plus Japan is pretty smart, so I imagine they'll implement it pretty quick.

Nice work Japan

Generally, I think Elon‘s companies open source their tech. That should help others copy and catch up on some of the work.

The Japanese I’ve known would have it in about 3 months working 20 hr. shifts.

They have been known to adapt and iterate rapidly in the past. They have a lot of educated experts too. Hard to tell.

Would really like to see Elon team up with JAXA at some point. I'm guessing the national security and geopolitical obsticles might be an issue.

Japanese rocket is harder to balance. It’s taller with smaller landing gears.

probably faster, as there is someone to look up to on how to do it.

Not that long. Japan understands tight tolerances and quality control.

10 years

Looks like it won’t take long.

Also US 2012

Yes

ChodeShip
Before China made everything, Japan made everything. They've always been good at copying/reverse engineering western tech. Also its much easier to do something when someone's already done it, it's like the 4 minute mile someone broke it, then several others broke it afterwards.

Comparing state funded programes to a private company with limited funding makes zero sense to me. If not for SpaceX the US would be 3rd at best.

Wait until some one makes Astronaut anime girl.

2019 for USA inaccurate, was closer to 2013

Alguns séculos depois.......

They are trying to build a Falcon 9 equivalent. Not Starship.
