Oh boy. We have a problem — a bit problem. There are still two kittens in my attic. A little black one, and a white one I gave only caught a fleeting glimpse of twice, the last time being this past Sunday morning. So, I took food into the attic and quietly sat there for 15 minutes. Then a black kitten appeared. I noticed how much he has grown. Then, a second kitten appeared — and it was not white! Two black kittens? At 2:15 in the video there is another surprise: a third black kitten! No sign of the white kitten. Am kinda wondering if the white kitten actually, or if it was some type of a kitten guardian angel. The few times I saw it, it was pure white and was next to the black kitten. I guess I need to stick an old GoPro up there and let it run for hours. Mel Gibson on how the waterfall sequence in "Apocalypto" (2006) was shot & a weird incident that happened during the filming: "Gibson: Well, it's a real waterfall. We used a SpiderCam. We put the Genesis on it. I think that's the first time that's happened. We had to span the waterfall and river with cranes and put the cables up. It was quite an elaborate setup to enable the camera to go over the guys shoulder, down on the water, over the edge, turn around and then pull back in one shot. Of course you're not going to make a real guy jump off something like that. He'll ki!! himself. A cow fell over one day. A cow was trying to swim across... it was just overtaken by the depth of water and it fell over the waterfall! It hit the water and I thought, "It's toast." It was about 170 feet, this waterfall. It came up somewhere on the other side and it was all busted up... then the waves got it, it was upside down, bouncing off the rocks... and it got into this deep water. One of the local guys, this is the weird thing of all... the cow's in the water, but this Mexican guy just goes up to it and it's like he said something to it, it was the weirdest thing I've ever seen, and the cow just walked up and started eating grass! Farhad Safinia: The cow was just munching grass. It felt like it didn't remember a thing. Interviewer: Is there any footage of that? Gibson: I kept telling them to turn the camera on. A lot of people wouldn't turn the camera on when I told them too. It used to make me crazy. With the guy jumping off the waterfall... we found a 15 story building in Vera Cruz and we hooked Rudy up to it on a wire and said, "Jump off, kid!" His knees banged together for a little but he did it 10 times. FSD Beta 12: The One Where It Parks Itself After consistently having the car either park itself into a stall (if my destination was a parking lot) or pull to the curb out of the roadway (if the destination was on a street), I experienced this… Set the destination to a random alley in Downtown Sacramento. The car pulls into the alley, driving slow. Based on my previous experiences earlier in the drive it appears to be looking for a spot. Seems like it couldn’t find one it could fit into. Instead of stopping in the middle of the roadway (how v11 would have performed) the car rerouted itself around the block and back into the alley. When it gets back into the alley, it immediately parks into a parking stall instead of proceeding all the way to the destination. This is EXACTLY what I would have done if I was driving. After seeing there was no parking spots the first time, I would have driven around the block and parked in the first available spot I could find. Whether or not this is what actually happened is up for debate. But based on the previous 5 or so tests I performed before this, it really does seem like it was looking for a spot to park. I’ll post the video of the entire drive with the other parking examples later on today. Maybe Elon Musk can chime in as to what happened here?
