You have to be extra annoying for Jimmy Carr to want to kick you out. He lives for talking to hecklers. She’s next level irritating lmao

The more deeply they are involved with their religion, any religion, the further from reality they tend to be.

"No wonder I don't believe in god. What the fuck was he thinking when he made you?"

as atheist, i believe in one less god than you lmao. so true

Actually, that’s quite an elegant quote about God.

Religion is a mental illness. Children eventually realise santa claus isn't real. Yet continue to play santa claus as adults. So much time wasted for mildly effective placebos. The peace you feel is a placebo. Countless, better, more effective placebos out there.

There’s only one God

One God? Which one: Zeus, Yahweh, Allah, or the thousands humans invented?

@Libertyninjadog Yahweh actually. Do some actual research. You probably won't because the problem you people have is an emotional one and not logical. Search for God with humility and you will find him.

@TheSkepticWiz @Libertyninjadog You’re unaware but you drank the Kool-Aid

@TheSkepticWiz @Libertyninjadog There is no good argument to not be a Christian. All you can do is type non-sense like this.

@cncandchill @TheSkepticWiz @Libertyninjadog Sure there is. People weaponize religion by instilling fear & bully people they don’t understand, or don’t want to understand. As a former ⛪️ goer, the flock are the most judgmental I’ve come across, which is funny because they ignore the sermon of “love thy neighbor” 1/2

@cncandchill @TheSkepticWiz @Libertyninjadog 2/2 if someone sees the damage, violence and hypocrisy that man has devolved the Christian faith to, I can come up with many reasons not to be Christian. Keep in mind that I haven’t even touched the whole “may not be real” topic either.

@Namor3mwj @cncandchill @TheSkepticWiz We have an identity crisis in our world. People say they are Christian but they don’t think Christ is the only way to go to heaven. People say they are vegan but they still eat meat. It’s hard to discuss things. But what you say begs the question, what does it mean to be Xtian?

God Junkies are the fucking worst. Hope these jack holes were tossed right out on their sorry asses after this exchange. No doubt red hats ruining the fun for everyone…

His response of “one more god than you” lifted straight from Ricky Gervais

I like that he was willing to actually have a conversation until it became clear she was either under the influence or muddled. Having a conversation about God is always good.

Why go to a comedy show to debate the theory of God? Be quiet, enjoy the show. Get your attention fix somewhere else.

That was the type of Christian that makes people not want to learn about God. Judgemental followed by hypocrisy, all in one sitting! This is the kind of person who brings religion into every conversation, to show you, she’s more of a Christian than you.

This is what religion does to people. It’s scary.

“From away” is a Maine thing. Unfortunately, too many people from away live in Maine.

Not at all. After all he didn’t save my father so he’s already proven himself an untrustworthy failed. Mostly because he’s a fictional character from a book of Jewish fables for retards.

Cocky atheists love to shit on the true tolerance of Christians. Meanwhile, they have ZERO BALLS to say anything bad about Muslims.

I despise people who play expert about any religion of any type or any Faith of any type. All of us are in for a surprise.

People that make comments like “your god” or “not my god” think they can create their own creator.

Why is this woman even there shouting! OMG she really is a loud mouthed American.

That pair are totally demented, why are they even there.

The quote is attributed to Barry Taylor. He worked as a roadie/guitar tech for AC/DC in the 1970s (during the Highway to Hell era), later converted to Christianity, and became a theologian, worship music maker, author, and speaker.

Even if we grant that story is true, so what? Who said a quote has to come from a theologian to be valid or invalid? Whether it came from a roadie, a preacher, or a random person doesn’t determine if the idea is true. And if that quote comforts him, then sure, he’s just another one who needs the blanket. But comfort isn’t evidence, and a soothing story doesn’t magically turn a claim into a fact.”

There’s a reason Stephen King’s horror books are all based in Maine.

God doesn’t give us the right to judge anyone or their beliefs. Go sit down.

Well @jimmycarr you’re genuinely hilarious and sometimes quite wise but you’re teleologically and metaphysically dwarfed by pop atheism. God is Ipse Esse Subsistens. Search it up and we can chat about it. I’ve never lost a debate on this one. Even a child knows God is real.

That seemingly intelligent adults still think there’s an invisible man in the sky controlling everything boggles my mind.🤪

Has anyone told them we already figured out? Trust the science! Science has never been proven wrong!

"If you could sprinkle a little Shut-the-fugg-up on it, then you can stay." Legendary!

That’s why we call them Maine-iacs 😂

He told a woman to calm down that never works lol

Jimmy is a class act.

“Third generation Mainer” Who the fuck brags about living in the shittiest state for three generations.

You won’t have to trust God if he was really taking responsibility for what goes on.

If you’re in 2026 believing in god give your head a wobble. More people die from Religion than any disease. Time to turn it in.

God is real, but idc what anyone else thinks. Stop yelling stupid shit like this out

If you don’t care what others think, that’s fine personally but once you state it publicly, it becomes open to questioning. That’s how discussion works. People don’t reject the idea of God just to be difficult, they’re asking for evidence proportional to the claim. The bigger the claim (like a supernatural being), the stronger the evidence needs to be.

I didn’t believe in God, and was a drug addict on the Streets who saw shit that would make most people hate God(if they even believed in him). I absolutely HATE organized Religion, I know that it’s for money, and power. I hate the Catholic Church, because I think they are the opposite of God. I look at Babies, Dogs, animals, nature, and I see God. I believe this is a test, and we keep coming back until we get it right. I’ve kind of always believed that, and then I read the book “Many Lives, Many Masters”. I don’t believe in pushing my beliefs on others, like the idiot did by yelling out. Either way I guarantee I’m WAY happier than a person with no beliefs.
