NEW: A 6’7”, over 400-pound assistant football coach at a Broward County, Florida, high school was arrested Tuesday on four counts of child abuse after allegedly punching three students in the face during a verbal altercation at practice on Monday. Following his arrest, a video surfaced showing the coach, who also served as a campus monitor at Monarch High School, fighting with students in a school bathroom. You wanna know why Cooper Kupp is the best receiver in football when he’s healthy? Because he literally does it all. There is not one receiver who does as much as Cooper. Most are dominate at 1 or 2 things. Cooper Kupp literally does everything at a dominating level. This man has great hands, he can route run with the best of them, he can use his underrated speed, he has the best IQ for a receiver, the best work ethic, and on top of that he’s one of the best blocking receivers in football. There’s not any other receiver in football that can match Cooper Kupp when you combine all of that together. His krpytonite has been injuries, but when he’s healthy. If you think José Mourinho's rants are wild, his first ever rant was completely insane. In 2000, Mourinho had only 8 career matches as a coach, when his Benfica player, Sabry, called him out in public. Mourinho's reply was crazy. "It's not easy for a coach to like a player who has an absurd average of offsides per game, that doesn't know how to position himself, that runs away from the pressure in away matches, that in the last few games was 3 times one on one with the goalkeeper and didn't score a goal, that at half-time, when I'm more aggressive, goes to the secretary to complain and say he's afraid of me. It's not easy for a coach to like a player like this. Then he says I never speak with him and the relationship is not correct. I have a little book about my individual meetings with the players, everything is there. With Sabry, who says I never speak with him, I had 7 individual meetings. Not one, not two, seven. And of the seven meetings, three of them were in the past 4 days. I spoke with him, but he doesn't like the things I tell him. Then he says that playing only 20 minutes in a match is little for him. The cops pulled up the DMV photo, saw it wasn't him, and they used his name ANYWAY. Now the REAL Kendrick Gonzalez, a North Carolina teacher and football coach, has a "criminal record" for a crime that happened almost TWO HOURS from where he lives... that was committed by his FRIEND He found out he had a "criminal record" when HR called him during football practice, in front of his kids and staff and they FIRED HIM. He lost his entire career. The City of Charlotte just filed a motion to dismiss his lawsuit because: "a DMV photo not matching the suspect's face isn't "conclusive" proof it's the wrong man..." ...sorry what???? Bryson has had seizures up the wazoo lately. But what does he do usually less than an hour after having severe Grand Mal seizures where he will stop breathing even?! He’s going to school, he’s helping coach his little brother’s basketball team, he’s supporting and cheering his big brother at his football and basketball games, and hanging out with his bonus big brothers on Cal football. This kid keeps me going. Steven Spielberg saw Stanley Kubrick for the first time in 1980 while he was building sets for "The Shining" (1980). After the movie was released, Spielberg went to Kubrick's house for dinner. Kubrick asked him if he liked the movie. Spielberg, who didn't like the movie in the first viewing, started to tell Kubrick all the things he liked about the movie, rather than telling that he didn't like the movie. Kubrick saw right through him and said, "Steven, you obviously didn't like my picture very much". Spielberg replied, "There is a lot of things that I like about the picture". Kubrick stopped him and said, "But there is a lot of things you didn't love about the picture, probably a lot more that you didn't than did. So tell me what you didn't like about it." Spielberg pinpointed Jack Nicholson's performance. He called him a "great actor" and a "great performance", but a "Great Kabuki Performance", almost like Kabuki theater. Kubrick then asked, "You mean you think Jack went over the top?". Spielberg replied affirmatively. Kubrick then asked Spielberg to name his top 5 favourite actors of all time without thinking much. Spielberg listed Spencer Tracy, Henry Fonda, James Stewart, Cary Grant and Clark Gable. Kubrick said, "Stop" & questioned, "Where was James Cagney on that list?" Spielberg said that he is up there high, Kubrick then said, "But not in the top 5". Finally Kubrick said," You don't consider James Cagney as one of the 5 best actors around, but I do. He scored 20 points. Jason McElwain was diagnosed with severe autism at age two. He didn’t speak until he was five. He couldn’t chew solid food until he was six. He wore a nappy for most of his early childhood. As a baby, he was rigid, wouldn’t make eye contact, and hid in corners away from other children. He tried out for his school basketball team every year and got cut every time. Too small. Too slight. Barely 5’6 and about 54 kilograms. But he loved the game so much that his mum called the school and asked if there was any way he could be involved. The coach created a team manager role for him. For three years, McElwain showed up to every practice and every game. He wore a shirt and tie on match days. He ran drills, handed out water, kept stats, and cheered every basket like he’d scored it himself. On 15 February 2006, the last home game of his final school year, the coach let him suit up in a proper jersey and sit on the bench. With four minutes left and a comfortable lead, the coach sent him in. His first shot missed. His second missed. Then something shifted. He hit a three-pointer. Then another. Then another. His teammates stopped shooting entirely and just kept passing him the ball. He hit six three-pointers and a two-pointer. 20 points in four minutes. The highest scorer in the game. When the final buzzer went, the entire crowd rushed the court and lifted him onto their shoulders. His mum tapped the coach on the shoulder, in tears. “This is the nicest gift you could have ever given my son.” McElwain won the ESPY Award for Best Moment in Sports that year, beating out some of the biggest names in professional sport. This is Nonso, one of the players who featured in the Iyoo Cartel FC vs Top Members FC football match last December at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu. He suffered a serious hip joint injury during the game. A scan confirmed the damage, and doctors required a ₦1,000,000 (one million) deposit to begin treatment but due to financial issues then, he has now been operated on but his condition is still critical as he is unable to walk or move freely. Please he needs prayers at this point and any form of help you can render to fasten his recovery process.
