Silver is still strong. But will it stay at these levels long term? Will silver go higher? If owning silver bars is not your thing, the other way to play this is by owning silver mining stock. But the issue is that 75% of silver comes as a biproduct of copper, lead or zinc mining. Only 1% to 2% of their revenue comes from silver. So those types of mining companies don't care about the price of silver. There are very few mining companies that are primary silver producers, which is more than 50% of revenue from silver. The next thing to consider is, which companies can still expand their production? Which ones have really high grade ore? I only own two silver mining stocks. One of them is Aya Gold & Silver. US ticker is AYASF and the Canada ticker is AYA . to. I have owned it for several years. They are producing silver at their mine Zgounder in Morocco. They have a second project, called Boumadine, that will open in the future. They were already making great profits at Zgounder when silver was only $30 per oz. Their profits at $75 per oz are insane. The markets are not valuing the silver mining stocks at $75 per oz yet. Aya can mine silver at $19 per ounce and be breakeven. Their margin at $75 silver is currently $56 per ounce. That means Aya has an estimated annual operating cash flow of $336 million (at $75 silver). That is only for their Zgounder mine which is already operating. Their Boumadine mine is going to be 5x larger. If you believe in silver long term and don't want to own the physical metal, my top silver mine stock in my portfolio is Aya Gold & Silver. Canada company with it's HQ in Montreal. US Ticker: AYASF Canada Ticker: AYA. TO

I am extremely bullish on silver prices long term. There are clearly supply shortages in this market which has caused the increase in the silver prices from $30 last year to over $70 today. The issue is global silver mine supply. It is in decline. All of the mines in the world produced 900 million oz in 2015. In 2026 it will be about 820 million oz. Production is steadily declining. The best mines have been found and depleted. Meanwhile silver demand is still increasing. EVs, solar panels, electronics, Ai chips, etc. I have invested in physical silver, but I also invest in a few silver mining stocks. Most mining stocks are struggling just to maintain current silver production. The key is to find the companies that can increase production. My top silver stock in my portfolio is Aya Gold & Silver (ticker AYASF). The reason why is because this company is one of the few that can seriously increase it's production in the coming years. They are already producing 6 million oz of silver per year from their first mine, Zgounder. They mine at a cost of $20 per oz, they are selling their silver at over $70 per oz. That is over $50 per oz profit margins on 6 million oz. They are building their next mine, Boumadine, which is currently projected to produce 37 million oz AgEq in 2030. So this is a company that will increase revenue and profits by about 6x to 7x even if gold and silver prices remain at current levels. If gold and silver prices increase from here, the upside for AYASF is even higher. Here is a brief clip from an interview last week where the CEO, Benoit La Salle, walks through the numbers and the comparison to other silver miners. Benoit has built multiple mines in his career and he is doing it again with Aya (ticker AYASF). I will leave the link to the full interview in the replies below. This is just a brief clip. Bookmark this post. I will be posting about Aya regularly in the coming years.

UPDATE - M. OLIVER: WHY GOLD & SILVER MINERS ARE “FREE” RIGHT NOW One of the sharpest voices in precious metals just explained why he's quietly reducing leveraged positions and piling into gold and silver mining stocks. His reason? They are absurdly cheap compared to the metals they produce—and the charts are screaming breakout. THE HISTORIC VALUATION GAP ✅ Gold & silver miners (XAU index) are trading at only 4–8% of the price of an ounce of gold. ➡️ Compare that to historical averages: 25% of gold price during the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000–2008 bull runs. 🔥 Right now, miners are “dirt cheap” relative to the metal in the ground. THE TECHNICAL SETUP IS PRIMED ✅ The XAU/gold ratio has been trapped in an 11-year ultra-low base. 📈 We're now challenging and rallying above that long-term resistance near 8%. 🚀 A decisive breakout from this level has historically triggered massive investor flows into miners. SILVER MINERS LOOK EVEN MORE EXPLOSIVE ✅ When you zoom in on silver miners versus gold miners, the relative strength setup is even more compelling. ➡️ The leverage to silver prices is massive—if silver keeps running, silver-focused producers stand to outperform dramatically. THE PORTFOLIO SHIFT UNDERWAY ✅ “I've already been lightening my position and moving more into junior miners.” ➡️ Preference is shifting toward unleveraged miners for the rest of this year and likely into next. 💥 “That's where the real bang for the buck comes.” THE BOTTOM LINE Gold and silver miners aren't just undervalued—they're at some of the cheapest levels in decades versus the metals they mine, with technicals flashing a potential explosive breakout that could attract a flood of capital. Time to stop calling them “cheap” and start calling them opportunity. ED STEER "BONFIRE OF THE SHORTS" IGNITES, BUT MINING SHARS ARE HELD HOSTAGE 🎙️ Veteran analyst Ed Steer breaks down the shocking divergence between soaring silver and stagnant mining stocks. THE GLARING DISCONNECT ✅ Silver is at $93, up ~30% YTD and posting 5-7% daily gains. ❌ The SIL silver miners ETF is up only ~14% YTD. 📉 Hecla, Pan American, & First Majestic are flat or down on huge silver up days. ➡️ "The shares right now... we'd be looking at at least a double in every silver stock." THE ACTIVE SUPPRESSION THESIS ✅ Steer's verdict: Shares are being "actively managed" and suppressed. 🤔 Purpose? To prevent mainstream attention and capital flows. 🔍 Evidence: Physical ETFs (SLV/PSLV) track the metal's price perfectly; miners do not. 💎 "They're trying to keep people... in Amazon and all these other stocks." THE "BONFIRE OF THE SHORTS" IS HERE ➡️ This parabolic move is the "bonfire of the silver shorts" predicted by analyst Ted Butler. 🔥 With silver up $8 in two days, relentless margin calls are forcing short covering. 📈 "We're in a short squeeze they'll be talking about... hundreds of years from now." THE GEOPOLITICAL & MARKET SHIFT ✅ Price discovery is now driven by Shanghai (premium >$100), not just COMEX. 🛡️ Silver is remonetizing as the 50-year fiat experiment unwinds. ⚖️ "We are living through history... the precious metals are going to be money again." THE BOTTOM LINE FOR INVESTORS The extreme undervaluation of silver equities represents a monumental opportunity. The fundamentals demand prices at least 90-100% higher. When the suppression breaks, the catch-up rally could be explosive. P. Baker: "At the recent LBMA meeting, the consensus was: Physical is king.” Phil Baker, former CEO of Hecla Mining (USA's largest silver producer for 20 years), reveals a seismic shift. The driver of the silver price is no longer Western speculators. ✅ India's demand in October was 60M ounces, up from 15M ounces the prior year—a four-fold increase. ✅ “That is the driver... the underlying price of silver above $45-50 is really coming out of India.” INDUSTRIAL USERS ARE PANICKING Companies are abandoning "just-in-time" supply models and hoarding physical metal. ➡️ US industrial buyers are now securing 6-9 months of inventory ahead of potential tariffs. ➡️ “My advice to them for the past 18 months: don't be short silver. They're finally putting the silver in place.” THE SYSTEM IS SHOWING ITS LIMITS ➡️Recent events prove the physical market now dictates the price. ➡️During the 10-hour CME outage, premiums in Shanghai and India “widened almost instantly.” ➡️“The physical market is driving the financial market in a way it hasn't in my career.” ➡️At the recent LBMA meeting, the consensus was: “Physical is king.” THE SUPPLY CLIFF IS A MATHEMATICAL CERTAINTY ➡️The deficit isn't cyclical; it's structural for the next decade. ➡️Mine supply peaked in 2016 at ~900M ounces and “we will not reach that level again this decade. Realistically, not until 2035.” ➡️Annual deficits are 100-200M ounces. This shortfall can only be filled by metal from investors, as central banks hold negligible silver. ➡️“It requires a much higher price and a lot of [investors] to be mobilised.... We've had low prices for a long time. As a result, you've not had the exploration.” HT: Kitco NEWS Jeremy Szafron #Silver #SilverSqueeze #India #Commodities #Markets #Investing #PMs #SupplyChain

UPDATE: "WE ARE LIVING THROUGH HISTORY RIGHT NOW" - ED STEER ON THE SILVER CRISIS. 🚨 Precious metals expert Ed Steer just gave one of the most urgent interviews of the year. His message is clear: the 50-year price management scheme is ending. ✅ "The parabolic run was just the tip of the iceberg. The party is just getting started." The Driver: A Historic Short Squeeze. ➡️U.S. bullion banks have covered 29,000 COMEX short contracts since April. ➡️For the first time in history, they are now NET LONG silver. ➡️But they still hold a massive gross short position of 18,000 contracts. They are in a "lose-lose situation." 💥 "This is the beginning of Ted Butler's 'Bonfire of the Silver Shorts'... The shorts are in dire straits." The Unstoppable Physical Reality. ➡️We are entering the 6th consecutive year of a structural supply deficit. ➡️China's new export controls (effective Jan 1) require a license to ship silver out. They control ~60% of global refined supply. ➡️The Shanghai physical premium is 13.8% above COMEX. "They just can't refine it fast enough." Why This Isn't 1980 or 2011. ➡️ "This time it is totally different. This is a structural supply-demand deficit... It will be with us for 5, 10, 15 years." ➡️ "The silver needed to fill this deficit has yet to be discovered." On Price & Strategy: ➡️"A three-digit silver price... is going to put a lot of trading houses in insolvency immediately." ➡️$500/oz is "not unreasonable" and could become the new floor. ➡️"I have physical silver in a vault. I ain't going to be selling an ounce of it... It is pure wealth." ‼️"The silver needed to fill this deficit has yet to be discovered."‼️ Silver Miners: The "Bargain of the Century." ➡️They have horribly underperformed the metal (up only 1.14x vs. silver's 158% gain). ➡️"I have the impression... that there's somebody out there definitely suppressing the price..." The Bottom Line: The desperate short covering and the unbreakable physical deficit are colliding. The paper market's control is over. True price discovery is ahead. UPDATE: M. OLIVER - FORGET 2011. SILVER IS ENTERING A "NEW REALITY." THIS IS BIGGER. ⚡ "Volatility is part of the process. Expect sharp, scary sell-offs (like the recent 15% drop) along the way." ✅ Silver isn't just rallying. It's breaking into a "new reality" of price discovery after 50 years of suppression. ➡️ According to momentum analyst Michael Oliver, the recent breakout versus gold is the critical signal. This same signal preceded the massive rallies in 1979-80 and 2010-11. 📈 His projection is stunning: "In the next couple quarters... I think you'll see silver... reach at least $200 and possibly a lot higher in a rampage." ⚡ Volatility is part of the process. Expect sharp, scary sell-offs (like the recent 15% drop) along the way. These are not the end—they are shakeouts within a much larger ascent. ⚠️ Ignore the noise about COMEX margin calls. They are a sideshow. The core drivers are bigger: monetary decay, systemic risk, and a historic technical breakout. 💎 "Markets are not always rational... When [silver] decides to correct that 50-year error, it has a tantrum that goes beyond a reasonable correction level." The Bottom Line: The alignment of technical, fundamental, and monetary factors suggests the silver move has just begun. Extreme volatility is the price of admission for potential generational gains. #Silver #Gold #PreciousMetals #Investing #Markets #Commodities #Stocks #Mining #Economy #Breakout HT: YouTube - Auctus Metal Portfolios Momentum Structural Analysis

The Junior Mining Trade is Finally On and Here's Why For junior mining investors, 2024 has been a mixed bag of patience and promise. While the price of gold and silver has been skyrocketing to levels unseen in over 20 years, junior mining stocks haven’t kept pace. Many investors who poured money into smallcap exploration companies expecting them to follow gold’s surge are getting restless. But things are finally looking up for this lagging sector, and it’s all about where we’re at in the natural resource cycle. Let’s break down what’s happening and what might be on the horizon. Gold and Silver Are Shining—So Where Are the Juniors? Over the past year, the price of gold has climbed nearly 38%, with silver up a stunning 42.5%. Yet, despite these record-breaking moves, the smaller companies focused on exploration and discovery, the juniors, have barely moved. The S&P TSX Global Mining Index is up a respectable 23%, but the TSX Venture Metals and Mining Index, where most juniors trade, has only eked out a 9% gain. What gives? The answer lies in understanding how large and small mining companies navigate their roles in the precious metals cycle. Large mining firms like Newmont have been basking in higher prices, increasing production, and capitalizing on high margins. But for smaller companies, the real opportunity often comes when large producers start feeling the need to secure future supply. And here in late 2024, that moment is just arriving. The Resource Equation: Why Giants Like Newmont Look to the Smaller Names To understand how the big miners influence juniors, let’s look at Newmont Corporation, the world’s largest gold miner, operating across four continents. Newmont’s primary goal is to produce as much gold as possible at the lowest possible cost. But mining is unlike most industries—every ton of ore that comes out of the ground depletes reserves. Once Newmont extracts an ounce of gold, it’s gone for good. And unless it adds new ounces to its portfolio, production eventually declines, and so does the stock price. For a giant like Newmont, replacing these reserves through new discoveries is costly, risky, and time-consuming. Companies like Newmont prefer to purchase assets that are already developed or nearly so. Recently, Newmont acquired Newcrest in a $28.8 billion deal, marking the largest gold merger to date. Newcrest itself grew through acquisitions, buying up promising mines like Red Chris and Brucejack to shore up its reserves. By buying Newcrest, Newmont added high-quality, low-cost ounces to its portfolio, but the global giant still needs to continually replenish reserves to meet production demands. That’s where the juniors come in. Agnico-Eagle and the Depletion Dilemma Agnico-Eagle, the second largest gold producer, faces similar challenges. After its own string of acquisitions, including a merger with Kirkland Lake Gold and the purchase of Yamana’s assets, Agnico has continued to produce significant volumes of gold. But high production volumes mean reserves are also dwindling fast. Take Agnico’s mines in Mexico, Pinos Altos and La India, which once held nearly 80 million tonnes of gold and silver ore. After a decade of operation, these assets are close to depletion. Agnico has exploration projects, but it’s unclear if they’ll be able to replenish the company’s gold supply at the rate it’s being depleted. For Agnico, acquiring developed assets is a faster solution, but with competition increasing, the company may soon have to look at even smaller players—putting junior mining companies back in the spotlight. The Junior Mining Cycle: Positioned for Growth? As long as gold and silver prices remain high, big mining companies will be on the lookout for acquisitions to secure future production. In fact, the 23% gain in the S&P TSX Global Mining Index and the 45% one-year return on the GDX signal that the metals rally is starting to reach mining stocks. The trend is only beginning to impact juniors, but it’s gaining momentum. Soon, even higher-risk, earlier-stage exploration companies may become prime acquisition targets for larger miners. For juniors, this translates into real opportunity. As big miners get hungrier for reserves, they’ll go further up the risk curve to secure assets, bringing much-needed capital into the space. Exploration companies that prove their resource quality, viability, and production potential may see increased valuations and potentially, acquisition offers. And with investor attention gradually returning to the sector, the right companies could see significant price moves. How to Navigate the Junior Mining Space The challenge, of course, is identifying which juniors have what it takes to make it. As some veteran mining investors will tell you, success often depends less on the project itself and more on the people managing it. I’ve spoken with Rick Rule, Doug Casey, and Frank Giustra over the last year and they all emphasize the importance of strong management teams in mining. A great deposit in the hands of an inexperienced team can lead to wasted resources, while an average deposit managed well can turn into a profitable operation. The Deep Dive has hosted numerous junior mining CEOs who’ve given us insight into their companies, strategies, and outlooks. One example is Silver Tiger Metals, which has been developing a promising silver asset in Sonora, Mexico, close to Agnico’s Pinos Altos. We spoke with their CEO, Glenn Jessome, about how he plans to bring the project to fruition. For investors, hearing directly from these leaders can provide a clearer sense of who knows what they’re doing and who might struggle if challenges arise. 2025: A Big Year Ahead for Junior Mining? The signs are there—2025 could be a pivotal year for junior miners. The macroeconomic backdrop is favorable, with sustained demand for gold and silver likely as inflationary pressures and a strong dollar drive more investors into metals. Meanwhile, big mining firms are looking to juniors to secure their future production, meaning higher acquisition interest and more money flowing into exploration companies. If you’re watching the junior mining space, keep an eye on the fundamentals: Who has strong management? Which projects are positioned in promising jurisdictions? And crucially, who has the financing and expertise to make the most of their assets? Where to Start If you want to follow our efforts, subscribe to The Deep Dive to stay updated on all things junior mining. We’ll continue to feature CEOs and industry experts to bring you insights directly from the companies on the frontlines of this cycle. And if you have questions for our guests, let us know in the comments—chances are they’re reading too.

🔥 UPDATE: M. OLIVER - SILVER MINERS: THE SLEEPING GIANT READY TO EXPLODE 🔥 While gold miners have already surpassed their 2011 highs, silver miners HAVE NOT. This divergence is your map to the next parabolic move. THE TECHNICAL SETUP ✅ Gold Miners (GDX): Already trading WELL above 2011 peaks. ✅ Silver Miners (SIL): Still languishing BELOW their 2011 high ($94). ➡️ Recent price action tested the ~$90 level—the same resistance that capped the 2011 bull market. ⚠️ Key Insight: One more solid break above $90 could trigger a massive technical breakout, unleashing pent-up momentum. WHY SILVER MINERS ARE PRIMED FOR BERSERK GAINS ➡️ Operating Leverage: A move in silver price translates into exponentially higher cash flow for miners. ➡️ Catch-Up Trade: They have vastly underperformed gold miners. Mean reversion is overdue. ➡️ Volatility & Beta: Silver's inherent volatility is amplified in the mining equity space—especially in junior miners. ✅ The Play: Emphasize silver miners and direct exposure to high-potential silver juniors. $TUD.v - Maybe the cheapest tier-1 project on the market. Summary of the TUDOR GOLD Interview • Project focus: Treaty Creek project in BC’s Golden Triangle (CANADA), a large gold-copper exploration and development asset. One of the top 10 biggest #GOLD discoveries worldwide the last 30 years. 2024 MRE: Indicated gold: 21.66 million ounces Inferred gold: 4.88 million ounces (AuEq ounces: 27.87 Moz Indicated + 6.03 Moz Inferred) • Production ambition: Targeting a potential future production profile of ~250,000 to 300,000 oz gold per year from a large-scale underground operation, subject to economics and permitting • Resource update plans: Updated Mineral Resource Estimate planned for January 2026, with a focus on defining higher-grade zones better suited for underground mining, targeting 5M+ oz at 2+ g/t • PEA timeline: Preliminary Economic Assessment expected in Q3 2026, outlining economics, costs, and a ~10,000 tpd underground mine concept • Underground access strategy: Permitting an underground decline to allow year-round drilling, materially lower drilling costs vs surface drilling, and improve drill density and data quality • Exploration upside: Ongoing exploration beyond Goldstorm, including targets along the Sulphurets Thrust Fault, with potential for an additional 5 to 10M oz #GOLD 😳 • Capital position: Approximately $26M raised to fund the resource update, PEA work, permitting, and continued exploration throughout 2026! • Peer comparison: Management highlights favorable grade continuity and geological style compared to some nearby Golden Triangle deposits, while noting more drilling is needed to fully confirm continuity • Infrastructure advantage: Existing road and power access in the Golden Triangle seen as a meaningful positive for future development economics ————————————— 2026 may be the re-rate year with all these triggers 😍 Damn I need to add more shares even though the stock has been lagging 2025, I believe the re-rate is imminent and I love the story. They have drilled a lot of new high grade zones since the last MRE and are continuing to do so, they are even focusing on the high grade zones to add meaningful ounces and grades, all to increase the value of the company in rapid speed. This new CEO / Team is the best thing that could have happen to Tudor. Joe Ovsenek is the CEO for both Tudor and P2 Gold right now. This team means business, ( $PGLD.v ran 10x 2025..) Joe was the CEO of Pretium Resources and led Newmonts Brucejack mine from a development-stage project into a producing mine. Brucejack is also in the Golden Triangle;) Key achievements: • Took Brucejack through feasibility, permitting, financing, and construction • Brought the mine into commercial production in 2017 • Helped build Brucejack into one of Canada’s highest-grade underground gold mines After that, Brucejack was later acquired along with Pretium (Newcrest in 2022, then Newmont after buying Newcrest). Note: Brucejack is currently ranked among the top 5 largest #gold mines in Canada, a monster mine with ~8 g/t Au average grade for the mined ore. This is a team that creates value and moves forward. I am expecting a perfect storm year with rising #Gold, value creating newsflow and re-rate priceaction. Bonus: #Tudor holds significant #silver and #copper in addition to its gold resource. Historically treated as by-product credits, at today’s silver and copper prices (especially silver) those contained metals now represent substantial additional in-ground metal value that enhances the overall project economics Indicated: 128.7 Moz silver, 2.87 Blb copper Inferred: 29.0 Moz silver, 0.503 Blb copper Total: 157.7 Moz silver, 3.37 Blb copper Final comments: Tudors mcap right now is a joke. The stock have performed poorly and was a huge disappointment 2025, I can’t see that happen 2026 with current leadership, triggers ahead, further rising metal prices and as they ramp up marketing along the way
