How on earth did these ads get cleared by the Electoral Commission (EC) for being neutral? It seems no one there understands imagery bias and the concept of visual hierarchy. State broadcaster TVNZ and the EC are running highly targeted ads for Māori voters with the 'choose Māori or... general roll' option. However, look at the framing. Empowering māori language such as “Breathe mana into your choice” and visuals that very clearly tie the Māori roll to core aspects of Māori identity, culture, connection to place, and a sense of empowerment. The ad subtly steers viewers, especially those of Māori descent - toward feeling that opting for the Māori roll is the natural, deeply meaningful choice. It frames it as a "mana-filled" expression of who they are, something authentic and right for their whānau and future. It’s soft guidance that lands emotionally without being overt. The opening scene - wharf - water = traditional land +sea connection. The marae kitchen scene - which has huge traditional pull with the voice overlay of “it’s not about right or wrong but what’s right for you” while the woman nods . The last scene is blatant - the voice overlay “shape the horizon ahead” with father and son fishing - fishing - passing on knowledge, legacy, cultural identity. What imagery does the general roll have to reinforce that option? None. There are zero equivalent scenes showing the general roll positively. There is no abstract or equal representations of both options, generic NZ or imagery like ballot boxes or diverse crowds etc. You simply cannot claim that these ads are neutral - the voice over yes, but the complete ad is not even close to neutral. TVNZ is using taxpayer money to promote ethnic electoral segregation while claiming 'neutral information’. At its core, it is motivational messaging that predictably boosts one roll. This is laughably wrong on a number of levels, but this interaction is highly informative. Less than 10 hours after I called on the Greens and Te Pāti Māori to stop playing games and be upfront with their supporters and the public, Debbie Ngarewa-Packer has essentially confirmed the deal. Ngarewa-Packer says Te Pāti Māori will “swallow their ego for the good of the nation.” She’s made it crystal clear that her party is focused on securing the candidate votes in their electorates and in doing so, has all but confirmed an arrangement with the Greens. According to the RNZ-Reid Research poll, 49.6% of all voters believe Labour should rule out any deal with Te Pāti Māori. Even worse for Labour: 38% of their own voters want Labour to reject Te Pāti Māori outright. A Greens-Te Pāti Māori deal increases the chances of a chaotic Labour-led coalition and makes Hipkins continual refusal to confirm if Labour will or won’t work with Te Pāti Māori almost inconsequential.

“There are only two religions on earth” Interesting take.. In both scenarios the true essence of ascending from oneself or one’s life is through the process of becoming closer to that which is greater than self. Either by mirroring God through your life or by removing the ego in the present moment to shift your consciousness in such a way that you share the same space with the Creator. In both of these scenarios there starts with the belief or faith that there is a something greater than “I” or self. It is a way of being, a path taken. It is not “religion” or “books” that save us, these are only guides or guardrails. But it is within our own being the ability to ascend, or create that relationship. Not through good deeds and donating to charity or receipting every Bible verse, but an internal alignment of values, a perspective that seeks Truth, Life and wholeness in ALL things, not for profit or personal gain but because it IS the way of the universe. Humans have free will, the ability to choose, and it is this choice that gives us the power, the power to change or stay the same. It all starts within.

It does not go without saying that the people that they went after first are some of the most vulnerable activists in the United States, which is to say, pro-palestinian organizers and young people, especially those who who are on green cards or visas… And the idea that we would allow our freedom of speech to be violated and create exceptions to that for people who are advocating for the lives of Palestinians, it erodes at the very core of American identity, too, because this is a land of the free, but only as long as we defend it and make it so

“No, not that!” 📍 That was Speaker Gerry Brownlee’s order yesterday afternoon as a spontaneous haka erupted from the public gallery — following a stirring waiata performed across Parliament to honour new Te Pāti Māori MP Oriini Kaipara, after her maiden speech. Rather than allowing a moment of Māori pride and collective tikanga to play out naturally, Brownlee instead chose to shut it down — jumping straight to suspending Parliament. Undeterred, supporters simply carried on as he left the House, performing two haka in Kaipara’s honour. Yes, there are rules. Yes, the Speaker had approved one waiata only. Yes, Kaipara went four minutes over her allotted time — already testing his patience. And yes, he’d been given a guarantee that a haka would not be performed. But none of that justifies what followed. It’s also worth remembering there’s no proof this was a planned act of defiance by TPM — it was Kaipara’s own whānau and supporters who broke into haka, collectively following standard tikanga Māori protocol. Te Pāti Māori may well have advised against it, but in that moment, realistically, who could have stopped them? Across te ao Māori over the past 24 hours, the response has been clear: haka following waiata is perfectly normal. It’s an organic expression of unity and emotion — not disruption, let alone defiance. The question has to be asked: what exactly is the threat here? Why does tikanga Māori continue to unsettle the House so deeply? Since when did it become acceptable for the Speaker to shut down standard cultural practice, insulting a new MP, her whānau and supporters in the process? Surely, allowing the haka to finish would have been a far more productive — not to mention respectful — use of the House’s time. Still, Brownlee has called the haka “contemptuous,” and has since launched an investigation. According to 1News’ Maiki Sherman, he’s requested a meeting with Te Pāti Māori co-leaders next week. As a black belt, this is how I prefer to roll, not driven by personal development or even the enjoyment of it. I roll because it is good in and of itself. I strive to give of myself generously and to take what comes my way openly, without apology. Most of my time on the mat is spent guiding others, helping them navigate Jiu Jitsu. But when it’s my turn to roll, it becomes an experience that exists purely for its own sake. Jiu Jitsu is a ritual, not an outlet for pent-up emotions, nor is it a stage for personal theatrics. It transcends the release or display of personality. If anything, it functions as an escape from emotion and personality. Within this space of calm detachment, there emerges a kind of vision or fluency. This vision is the capacity to take the unpredictable and the unforeseen and seamlessly integrate it in a way that brings new meaning and value. Instead of feeling destabilized by the unexpected, allow it to deepen your perspective. The question is not how to avoid disruptions, but how to dance with them, absorb them, and become more adaptable through the encounter.

Listen to Kiwi Legend Ruth Tipu who repeatedly picked up the flag at a Nelson art exhibition which has led to the art gallery to remove the ‘art work’ that encouraged people to walk on the flag. This is one of the best interviews I’ve heard, a proud kiwi with commonsense and values who happens to also be Māori. Ruth explains that she chooses to move forward yes some things were not great in the past but why carry that with you? “My Koro fought under that flag and loved his county, Māori people and European we all came together under that flag, I know who I am we all mixed blood”. Really lovely interview with Ruth whom the ms media have ignored apart from pointing out she is part of Destiny Church.. the same old garbage bigotry - Church goers = ‘bad’ Ruth isn’t a racial Marxist brainwashed Māori = wrong kind of Māori Contrast Ruth with Rohan (some young progressive idiot that Nelson elected as deputy Mayor) and tell me who the real New Zealander is, who is representative of a bright future for our country and who represents a toxic cancer? For those who contest our right to an independent state in our land, what are they proposing? A one-state solution between the river and the sea, with equal rights for all, with everyone enjoying the right to vote and able to exercise their political and human rights? I doubt that is their intention given the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. So what are they proposing? There are only three options left: genocide, ethnic cleansing, or apartheid, or a combination of all three. The destruction and removal of a nation by force and the continued subjugation of a people. I shared a video from Nick Freitas yesterday about how to encourage and reach young men. You should check it out if you didn’t see it. Now, here is a clip that shows how to repel and discourage young men. This is so frustrating, Sean DeMars and Neil Shenvi. Leaving aside the whole “woke right” thing, whatever. You acknowledge that the Left has total cultural control. Then you mock the idea that white men are systemically discriminated against in our culture, or that we live in an effeminate gynocracy. What do you think the Left does with its total cultural control? You mock young men by claiming that their discrimination has no basis in reality, but has to be understood via some “gnostic” higher knowledge. This is not fair. We are starting to get more and more hard data on this issue. I will admit that there is an element of “look around, this should be obvious.” It should be, and you’re really sticking your head in the sand to deny these things. But being on the Right is to believe in God’s created reality. It’s not about “lived experience,” it’s about what is actually true. White men are being discriminated against in this culture, and the West has been feminized radically in the last 60 years. The biggest problem with the woke was always that they were wrong, beyond even their philosophical system. It wasn’t merely that they were claiming to be oppressed, but it was that this claim was wrong. "This argument sounds like that argument" is just so lazy when one was factually wrong, and one is factually right. The claims of the Right are correct in general. Let's say an incident has happened for about five to ten minutes. Let's say there are people been stopped and Assam riffle trying to stop them or whatever. In these videos that are being propagated, they only show part clippings which makes the story very different. Unless you see the entire video, unless you see the complete facts, you will tend to get carried away by what is coming. And that is precisely what is happening. Part of the story, part of the photograph, and part of the videos are what are being made and shown to drive a certain agenda which is wrong..." He further added "...From the first day, that is from the 3 May itself, Assam Rifle has maintained a neutral stand (in Manipur). So all these narratives that have been coming are agenda-driven. It makes me laugh when I read some of these stupid reports stating that the Assam riffle is favouring one community, not favouring the other. These are nothing but rumours, falsehoods, preposterous.
