Response is simple: Get away from her. Stay where you can visually see her but aren’t in her line of fire. Call your agency or employer to send another staff member. Then peacefully leave that home after handing over to another staff member or the family member.

For those of you who don't understand the job. These are the risks they already told you before you are hired. If you can't handle it, quit. She can't do anything but show love to the old lady.

Is she a Plant that can't move? I did that type of Job when I got here newly, I quit this type of job almost weekly most of these patients are suffering from serious dementia - so if you can't handle it, you quit! Don't get yourself into trouble by fighting them because they are already certified mental health patient.

She was actually supposed to leave, she doesnt need to put up with that much.. she will leave and get her full pay without explaining plenty
