That's beautiful, but the reality is 95% of drum kits bought for young kids get used a couple of times and then end up packed away in the garage.

Interests and hobbies should be cultivated from an early age. When you are young, you can cultivate your children in that area that they are interested in. Maybe it is a talent?

Parents should be careful. Pushing a young gifted child to hard can result in carpal tunnel and other neurological damage. Like challenging the child to play Mozart on the piano and give concerts. They will likely burn out and not continue to play. Slow and easy.
