@DeepMoneyWisdom In 1278 "coin clippers' were caught doing this in England and 300 were executed. All of the "coin clippers" were later expelled from England in 1290.

@DeepMoneyWisdom It's worse than this now. Now money is created with credit. If you take a loan to buy a car, they don't give you somebody else's money to borrow, banks just add the value of the car plus interest to their total revenue, this allows them to make more loans.

@DeepMoneyWisdom @GymBodyFitness_ This is a dumb oversimplification. Can you people just read some books about the benefits of the fiat currency over the gold standard. Sorry (not sorry) that monetary policy can’t be explained in a 30 second cartoon.
