I've been to Taffer's . No rib dinner. No $5 off chicken. No free cheese cake. Not even a red cocktail napkin. Server was on his phone.

Spoiler alert… none of this happened

He pulled all those numbers from his ass just like where he got those socks from

That’s not true… the customer showed up the first time. Didn’t count that cost.

If the waiter or waitress, fucking smiles and fills up my drink without me asking, I’m coming back every fucking time The biggest problem is the waiters and waitresses with attitudes. You don’t wanna tip them. You don’t even wanna be in the restaurant.

Humorous take: "Me walking in with a red napkin from home next time: 'New customer here, where's my free ribs? 😭 😂

Now that's what you call a genius level marketing

This might be one of the more important videos I have ever watched. He should have charged people for this lol

Still it's a nice touch not sure the math is right but nice touch none the less

I tested these ideas with my dumpling business and had 5x returning customers within a few months. Worked great.

This guy completely remodeled a bar across the street from MCAS Miramar. It failed within a matter of months... When MARINES don't even want to frequent your bar...What does they say about the owners? Or does it say more about this pompous prick? Alot of his projects FAILED

best tasting food ive had recently was at a place called Wagon Wheel or similar, in Panama Beach Fl. Fucking chicken and waffles, mac n cheese, fried okra, and their bread. omg. Couldnt find ONE complaint about the place, and we waited an hour. Loved it!

I can’t with this dude. I’ve tried to watch his makeover show and he’s just so darn obnoxious.

I can’t get over how he makes what’s effectively a kind customer incentive sound like a “trick” (scam). The method is generous but the mindset is greedy which beckons the question, how far do you go to the point you piss the customer off and lose them. Look at Sony right now 😅

Or even easier, just have good food and nice service 🤷♂️

😩😩😩😩 corny ass bullshit 😂😂😂😂😂😂 $5.00 bucks off

He has a 3.2 on TripAdvisor. Great job.

I noticed something fascinating about Dave's Hot Chicken. Whenever you pull up they ask if it's your first time there. If you say yes, you'll get big pieces of chicken and a lot of fries.

“Rib dinner” wtf

This is thinking out of the box. 🇺🇸….

Fuckin noob has no idea but talk like some great strategist

@Lilly_bat98 This guy gets it word-of-mouth is the best advertising… @grok can you give me a detailed analysis of his breakdown here just give me a breakdown of everything he’s highlighting. It’s brilliant.

But how does he get them in for that first visit? That is him ‘acquiring’ the customer, everything after that is retention. How much does he spend to get them in that first time?

This guy is a fucking idiot.

He is confusing customer acquisition cost with customer loyalty. In this example the customer is already in the restaurant.

Absolutely brilliant!! American ingenuity!!! 👏👏👏👏😳

OMG you got me hooked! I like your plan and I’d come just for the kind service. That what gets me to come back 💙🩷😊👍👍

They’re all scammers. I’ve had bars remodeled by his show. All stress test “employees” are actually just low level actors.

After a minute, I found myself thinking: This guy is so smart, I suspect he might be Jewish. And sure enough: Jon Taffer,"noting in interviews that his strong constitution and relentless work ethic come from his roots as a "Russian New York Jew"

Perfect! Love this

Wow, what a strategy. Loved it

And when you come back for the cheese cake he has a bridge he wants to sell to you.

Taffer’s tavern has 3 restaurants, originally 4 I thought he would have more Tough business, not sure free cheesecake is going to cut it

Not only that- the customer feels appreciated, feels like they got good value, and have a far better experience. It’s a win all around.
