Sometimes things happen for a reason. Toxic people have a way of removing themselves from your life and while showing their true colors at the same time. I used to have a friend in my friend group that I hung out with all the time. I thought we were all tight and we had fun every weekend. Turned out he was just using me for rides. What made it weird is that we hung out for years, I never saw it coming. It wasn’t until he drank too much that he let the truth slip out and from that point on I questioned his motives and it made me reflect on everything. I’m at a point in life now that I trimmed a lot of people out. I only keep a close circle. It turned out many family members were doing the same thing. It’s rough when you feel that there isn’t many you can trust. It makes you value the people close to you now even more. Have you ever had to cut someone out of your life? Do you regret it or feel guilt for it?

I used to have a friend in my friend group that I hung out with all the time. I thought we were all tight and we had fun every weekend. Turned out he was just using me for rides. What made it weird is that we hung out for years, I never saw it coming. It wasn’t until he drank too much that he let the truth slip out and from that point on I questioned his motives and it made me reflect on everything. I’m at a point in life now that I trimmed a lot of people out. I only keep a close circle. It turned out many family members were doing the same thing. It’s rough when you feel that there isn’t many you can trust. It makes you value the people close to you now even more. Have you ever had to cut someone out of your life?
