Underrated advice. Would be more awesome if you also found a niche or industry where people/teams will be willing to pay for what you actually enjoy to do. Because things can be really competitive out there and hence the reason why some people tends and try to survive elsewhere instead.

How to find what feels like play to you but looks like work to others: Start by paying attention to what you lose track of time doing. These are activities where hours pass without you noticing, where you feel energised rather than drained. Notice what people frequently ask for your help with or compliment you on, especially things that seem obvious or easy to you. Look at your childhood interests before external expectations shaped your choices. What did you gravitate toward naturally? Often our authentic interests get buried under "shoulds" and practical considerations, but they leave clues about our core drives. Try keeping a simple log for a week noting when you feel most engaged and energized. The patterns that emerge will point toward work that won't feel like work.
