How To Install Pavers😯

Insane this isn’t compacted at all. Those pavers are going to be a fucking trip hazard in a year. God help you if you’ve got any frost heave.

Nice job for foot traffic, but did you compact anything below it! I personally like compacting four to eight inches of gravel and bedding the pavers in a 1/2” bed 0-1/8” fine crushed gravel. Fill and then compact it all in with more fine gravel. But that may be overkill.

That will end up sinking. You need a sufficient compactor and locking sand.

wouldn't you want the slope of that so water goes away from the house instead of perfectly level?

#8 or #9 limestone chips for setting with compacted #57’s below for best compaction, pea gravel doesn’t lock in like limestone
