The guy leaves a gap around the mounting holes and installs the box in a way that the hole remains visible, instead of just making an opening inside the box to feed the wires through from the wall 🧱🤦🏻‍♂️

Seriously. Put the box on the conduit opening and use conduit between the box and camera to protect the wires. And, use a better quality box than this one.

About 6 useless holes in the wall. Box can be put directly over the wires conduit, sealed with silicone. The camera can be easily be mounted on the box's cover using regular M4 x 16 screws. Wiring should pass through the bottom holes to minimize humidity access.
