THIS GUY ASKED FABLE TO MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE AI RIGHT BEFORE IT GOT TAKEN DOWN the prompt: "you can you use whatever resources you like, and python, to render a short video. can you put a more personal spin on it? it should be about what it's like to be you." that was it. just python and ffmpeg and a question about its own existence. 12 minutes later, around 90,000 tokens, it produced a finished video. coherent and edited, with its own take > it wrote the code, generated the visuals, and rendered the final cut on its own > no dedicated video model in the loop, just a language model reaching for python and ffmpeg > the result is competent enough that people genuinely got emotional watching it and then fable got pulled. this video is one of the last things it made before it went dark a model asked what it's like to be itself, answered in a video, and then disappeared. this sounds so sad

Being Scared Of Santa Wasn't Even The Weirdest Part Of This Story The fact that someone can grow up being terrified of Santa and then somehow connect that fear to the Bible is already hilarious. But hearing the story explained in such a completely serious way is what makes it work. It’s one of those childhood fears that sounds ridiculous when you’re an adult until you remember how real and terrifying those things felt when you were a kid. And turning the whole thing into a Lego-style story somehow makes it even more ridiculous. Childhood logic really was something else.

This man bought a lottery ticket on his way out of the grocery store, as he scratched it off he couldn’t believe his luck he just won $300. The ticket was a $30 ticket and he made all of his money back. He walked over to customer service who took the ticket and claimed he scanned it and put a post it on the ticket and put it in the drawer. He then tries to hand the man $5 as the prize and claims that’s what the ticket says he won. The man know you can’t win $5 on a $30 high prize ticket. He asks the man to scan it again and he refuses and claims $5 is what it shows. The man escalates it further and asks for a manager. The customer service rep finally scans it again and it showed $300 and the man finally gets his money he won. Do you really believe the ticket scanned as a $5 winner or was the customer service rep trying to finesse him out of his money?

My Wife’s vibe coded her first app and here it is in action today She created a ticket and check in system for a charity event in Vietnam. Every existing system is fully online but a lot of the elderly in Da Nang don’t have phones or don’t know how to use technology. This app lets you design and print out physical tickets for distribution and then lets staff scan the ticket so that it can’t be reused. You also take a photo of the person and facial recognition makes sure people don’t slip back in line a second time. She is a product lead and a designer but has no engineering background. Vibe coding is not just about making MRR. It empowers everyone to build useful tools for the real world.

One of my favorite ways to use Claude Code is to create a ticket Here is why I love it: Claude Code is very good at doing the work, but it must know when it's "done." A ticket gives Claude Code a clear signpost for when to stop Here's how to write it in 4 parts: 1) Give it a job: - "Add a wait list form to the landing page." 2) Give it a proper scope: - Ask for a name, an email, and a company. 3) Tell it the UX you want: - Show a simple success message after a person sends the form. 4) Tell the constraints it needs to follow: - Keep the design the same as the current brand identity. Then add an instruction: make the change small enough to review in the diff view, run the checks, open the app in the desktop preview, and tell me what still needs human review. The catch: a ticket that is not clear makes Claude guess. "Make the app better." "Add AI." "Build the whole thing." You get a diff too big to read, so you cannot tell if it is right. Keep the ticket small enough so that Claude knows exactly what to do
