Push-ups are simple but they are not easy .... .... and that’s why they’re so often butchered. What most people miss: Treat every rep like a moving plank + a chest press. A few extra cues that make a huge difference: - Brace before you move → squeeze glutes + abs first, then descend - Think “push the floor away”, not “lift your body up” (better scapular control) - Pause 1 second at the bottom to kill momentum and light up the chest - Exhale as you press — improves core stiffness and power output - Stop 1–2 reps before failure if form degrades (quality > ego) Do them right and push-ups aren’t a warm-up - they’re a legitimate strength and hypertrophy tool.

I use dumbells to do pushups, to protect my wrists. Less painful as I get older

Isn’t this wideArm push-ups?

The wider hands pushup works on chest, it's not entirely a wrong form.
