How to recognize sparkling water in Europe?? 👀
54 Yorum

It's easier to learn how to read than follow this (wrong) instructions.

true, reading label is way simpler than guesing from colors. Those tips can mix you up..

I just push the plastic. If it’s pressurised, it’s fizzy.

Yeah that works! Just push it a bit and if it feels hard, its sparkling. Super simple..

@Wbp253Wbp465 Or just read the fucking label 😂

@evelyn_mill8 Great idea when you can’t read the language genius

Just read the fucking label

Not true though. Bottle on the left is sparkling, bottle on the right is still. Just learn the words for still and sparkling and you're fine.

Yeah, that makes sense just learning words is way easier then guesing by the bottle color👍

Why people drink sparkling? I dont get it

Some people just like bubbles, feels lighter nd more fun to drink..

Oh i see, the sensation ya

@evelyn_mill8 there was actually a study done on this i think? where it had to do with the fact that the fizz is registered by the body / brain better so for neurodivergent people it actually registers that they are drinking (also good for old people). for me if i drink still water it doesn't-

@evelyn_mill8 feel like im drinking anything or that it quenches my thirst, i genuinely still feel thirsty but also kind of sick bc i try to drink more to sate myself. i moved in w grandparents and brought my sparkling water w me and my 84 year old grandpa (that used to have problems bc he was

@evelyn_mill8 not drinking enough water is now drinking more than me and his blood test results (and kidneys!) are much better than before! so it honestly totally has a purpose (and sometimes it replicates the feeling of drinking 'soda' which might help to quit for health reasons too :)

@evelyn_mill8 Interesting to know about that, thankyou for the explanation, still strange for me to drink sparkling but i will try again tho :)

It says sparkling on it. Hope this helps

😂 true, it does say sparkling right on it the colors just make it quicker when you're in a hury 😂😅

Volvic and Vittel bottles disagree with this explanation not to mention glass bottles with silver caps

Yeah true, Volvic and Vittel don’t match thats rule and glass botles with silver caps are different to

Or just translate the label. You all have phones!! 🙄

Y leyendo la etiqueta no vale?

In Hungary pink is still, green is slightly sparkling, blue sparkling, black is extra sparkling, but eg in the UK most water is still

Oh nice, thanks for explaining! Pink still,, blue sparkling in hungary is good to know 😊 in the UK its mostly just stil water anyway

@domieszter In the UK you can drink from the tap.

@evelyn_mill8 Different topic, she was asking about sparkling water

My Tamagotchi died of dehydration trying to figure this out, so I feel your struggle.

poor Tamagotchi 😂 those bottles are soo confusing somtimes..

No rules in Poland. Blue, white, green can be whatever.

Or you could check if bottle is under pressure...

that works too! Just give the bottle little squeze and see if it feels hard

By being literate.

No

Clear or blue for still. Always green for sparkling.

Maybe in italy, but not in all of europe. Here in germany, there is no standard and every supermarket or brand has different colors. In Lidl for example, still water has green bottles with green caps, medium is turqoise and "classic" (which is very sparkling) is dark blue.

In germany they dont follow the rules…

Or just learn the local words for things that you buy lol

The correct answer is just to stop being a bitch and drink whatever you buy. Sparkling water won't kill you.

If you want still, look for the term ''Liscia'' or ''Naturale'' If you want sparkling, look for the term ''Gassata'' or ''Frizzante''

Because it has.... Bubbles ? I mean

What's wrong with sparkling water?

Magnesia with its full blue design: Hey 👋

Or you know..read?

Not true

Well here in the uk, you look for the one that says still on it

Read the label

Read the label...?

what is still water

it just says natural water for still water this rule is just wrong

Not true - just read the label

Squeeze the bottle with your hand: if it's hard, it's sparkling water.

Just press on it With sparkle they're always hard

No 😃 In Germany Saskia ist all Green is without Gas, Blue is with Gas 🤭

Thanks, that helps!! So in Germany green is still, blue is sparkling for Saskia.. Good to know 😊
