I am running 1.5.0 on coldcard Q, and Seedsigner 0.8.7 (Both latest firmware) Sorry this video is late. I have been helping people personally over the last few days. I rushed this video to get it out as soon as I could, and I wanted to get straight to the point. Please do more research into these techniques to fully understand the entire process.

Yes. It’s tells you 12 word which is good but You can make it shorter like in the video I posted so one can memorize or remember easier but still has strong entropy to not be cracked for millennia

Awesome, and you are the first person I've heard actually say that entropy created using dice is safe. Most people are screaming abandon ship but failing to acknowledge that user generated is ok. 99 rolls (256 bits) plus 25-30 characters for passphrase is good.

This is an awesome tutorial The only thing missing is extra verification of entropy I'd recommend verify the output of dice rolls -> mnemonic in several places before continuing Also good to verify that the first address derived is the same in multiple places

Yes that probably could happen - or when you export wallet to the coordinator (like sparrow) - they just export their own XPUB’s

Maybe good to add that if you are rolling physical D6 dice and constructing a new seed there → choose Dice and not Base 10 and only use the mnemonic converter offline if you do that.

What about running offline?

Just use @BlockstreamJade the best hardware wallet thats been out everything else is a risk knock off been with them since 2021.
