Swiss-German GCS-200 demining machines are serving Ukraine in the south of the country. These machines are operated remotely and can be equipped with interchangeable tools — such as a flail, a cultivator, or a manipulator — depending on the specific task. Their primary targets are anti-personnel mines like the PMN-1 and PMN-2, which have been widely scattered across agricultural land. The GCS-200 enables safe restoration of fields for use — just a few months after clearance, the land can be replanted. The machine is adapted to Ukrainian conditions and is actively used in areas where manual demining poses a high risk. Thankful to our Allies for helping make Ukraine safer. 📹 Army TV

The team spent the week training on demining machines used for preparing fields for manual demining. These machines are manufactured locally in Kharkiv, and soon, with enough support, I hope to be able to add one or two to the team. #Ukraine

This is what demining operations look like in Ukraine’s Kherson Oblast today. State Emergency Service sappers use the “Zmiy” (snake) ground robotic demining system to clear explosive objects from Ukrainian soil. The remote-controlled platform allows teams to carry out operations more safely and efficiently in heavily contaminated areas. Kherson Oblast remains heavily contaminated by explosives, with Russian forces still continuing remote mining of civilian territory using drones, adding new hazards even after areas are liberated. Since the start of demining work, pyrotechnic units have carried out more than 30,500 deployments and neutralized nearly 72,000 explosive objects, according to official figures. The work continues daily as teams restore safety to liberated areas. 📹Ukraine’s State Emergency Service

A Ukrainian station for FPV drone control has directional antennas that can be moved by remote controlled servos. Control stations are safely separated from the operator. Directional antennas send and receive signals in one direction, as they form a narrow lobe (signal pattern).

President Trump’s federal agents are now chasing migrant farm workers through fields — and circling them with a CBP chopper normally used to track smuggling at the border — in the heart of the nation’s agricultural economy. here’s my report from Ventura County, California.

We’ve just discovered an electric field that makes Earth’s atmosphere taller — say what??? 🌍 A NASA-led team has successfully measured a planet-wide electric field thought to be as fundamental to Earth as its gravity and magnetic fields. Here’s how it works 👇

Spotted on the roads of Nanyuki, Kenya. This is a self-propelled agricultural sprayer, a high-clearance farm machine used to spray crops with herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and liquid fertilizers. Its tall design allows it to move through mature crops without damaging them while covering large fields efficiently.
