How wallpaper installers make seams disappear

That’s cool. My installer looks like he makes meth disappear.

No ii is not! 100% technically incorrect for way too many reasons, including but not limited to it's set up as negative cut and you should always cut positively, so as for a right handed installer he is hanging the wrong direction unless he reverses his seams, double cuts should always be straight and vertical also the wall is not protected from the blade by teflon seam tape or equivalent, so even a little to much pressure will compromise the substrate. True professional installers know how to use a double cutter or seam buster. Also true installers have better than cheap dollar store tools. You never intentionally put glue on the face of your material......... Little horizontal cut into the material at the header was the icing on the cake 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Lets see it in 3 months when the seams start failing! But lucky for him its to late to get your money back by then. Typical self taught slasher!

If you think this is impressive you should try wood graining a metal door. It's SUPER easy. Check out when he uses the tool. It works just like that and any novice can do it. I've done it load of times.

I've worked on some of the finest buildings and done that plenty of times ,same with a tear repair , curves don't attract the eye in a busy pattern.

My grandma had all of my siblings and I take wallpaper off the wall for hours bc the last homeowners had terrible taste - please rethink wallpaper 😭😭

it's not wallpaper , it is vinyl , you need to overlap every seem to cut it and you can just cut them straight if you know what you are doing

Yes, and please note that the seam is above your head when you walk in. No one will notice it behind them.

That looks great while paper is still moist. But once it dries and shrinks, there will be a gap between both edges.
