How will you remember this Ashes series? #BBCCricket #Ashes

Watch the Ashes Debrief on BBC iPlayer 📺

That memory will be repressed.

As a complete and utter disaster. An embarrassing waste of a golden opportunity to give a mediocre Australian side a proper test. Crap.

Good points yes but England should have won the series....they had their chances but there were too many things went wrong and on that where do you start?

I'm still genuinely shocked that English fans thought this team was going to win. You wouldn't feed half of these poms. Absolutely shit. No fight in them and so, so soft.

Pathetic, inept, uninspiring, pointless. No discipline, under prepared. All stems down to three men, Stokes. Mccullum and Rob Key!

We broke records with crowd attendance because Australians love watching England getting humiliated in anything at any time. Prince/Nonce Andrew, gibbering Piers, the England cricket team with a kiwi coach and captain... It's a Schadenfreude festival all summer long 😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡

'but privileged to have seen it all', wonder if that would have been the view if you'd paid your own expenses?

I won’t. I’ve got enough problems thanks.

the ball retained its shape consistently. good memory

an unacceptable embarrassment and many people in a position to call those individuals responsible for the failings protecting their mates or being too gutless to do so jobs for the boys

A total and utter embarrassment.

A fucking disgrace

By trying to forget it.

Dismal.

As spoken by fair weather England supporters and Agnew, whose a bare faced hypocrite. Both part of the very WORST TMS commentary team I have heard in nearly 50 years of listening. Could do better, a lot better.

Really? Most ppl in Australia knew it would be this kind of scoreline. Honestly thought it would be 5-0

I don’t fully disagree with Aggers column but how can you say Bazball has not been good for Brook and Atkinson…

Lilac Hill & Canberra pointless, engineered two day Test pitches, phoney pink ball Test, too many bowling injuries, Snicko farce, 20 dropped catches, below par batting, TMS continually attacking our own team.

It was a shambles.

Closer than 4-1 suggests. At 3-0 @marnus3cricket said (iirc) Aus won more "moments". Fav memory of the series: @JofraArcher vs @stevesmith49: "Play your shots when there's not much on the scoreboard!" / "Bowl fast when there's nothing going on champion!". Brilliant to watch.

An embarrassing parade of arrogant not good enough players, with a few fleeting moments to remind us what could have been. Very very poor indeed.

As Stokes and McCullums failure.

TMS was a disappointment, sadly , needs to get rid of a few

Arrogance and hubris
