No. Follow the wall on the right so you're not exposing yourself to the the room on the other side of the door. Take that corner on the right, clear that space, then re-orient to the door, follow the next wall and pie the door.

I disagree with the number of head leans. You're gonna get your shit blown off. Pie and rotate without overextending limbs and head, stop peak leaning and cut from closer in the earliest one.

No matter how he clears that dead space, he'll have to take his eyes & gun off of the open door. Priorities of work dictate that the dead space must be cleared before the open door. There is no right answer.

Can see through the door that its a wall to the left. Moving the way he did left him open to threats from outside the door and someone could be around the corner in the room. Move down the table to clear that nook first. That's what I would do at least.

Not at all. There would have to be some extenuating circumstances that would never exist in the real word to attempt to clear an area that large with so many blind spots with 1 person. Oh and he is dead now because he didn't clear 1st room.
