Doughboy knew that decision he made that night would come back on him but they took something from him so it didn’t matter

Doughboy also felt alone even as a kid. his mother always showed favoritism when it came to Ricky, and after they killed his brother, his mother blamed him... At that point, he felt like he didn't have anything to lose because his mother only cared about one son.

Doughboy basically knew his life as he knew it was over, they was either gonna get back on him, he go to jail for it, or he really be out on the streets cause his mom blamed him for the death of Ricky. He felt very alone at the end and finally understand why Tre got out that car

Rickey was gonna get them out the hood so I can understand the favoritism towards him

I don't think it gets talked about enough how intelligent Dough Boy actually was. Dude was every bit as smart as Tre. His story is one of the most tragic in movie history. Great scene for sure.

Wish Trey and Rickey didn’t split up in that alleyway or just posted in somebody backyard yard til coast was clear. That scene still gets to this day
