I say this with all due respect and out of love. Black America is embarrassing. As a Black man I am truly embarrassed for us. Anybody following the Democrats is ridiculous but what do we get out of it? I watched Black people march around this country and say "the whole system" is guilty, only to vote for a blond haired White woman who used to work for the CIA over a Black woman because she is a Republican. We have lost the plot... No, even worse, we are the plot. It's not about voting for a White person or Black person based on their race, it's about the logical inconsistency of what we think the "guilty system" really is and how selective we are with our definitions and standards. I say this in all seriousness, Black people make so many excuses "culturally" it's almost unbelievable. We talk about "culture" and celebrate "culture", if a Black person does something good or has success, we hold them up as an example of "Black excellence". Great, but if a Black person doesn't something violent or self-destructive we blame White people or racism. If somebody achieves "Black excellence", the 1st thing they usually do is move away from other Black people, go to where White people live, but then we say there is no problem in the Black community? Are we retarded? And I don't say that to be funny. I honestly see the stuff we post online, the content we consume, the comments we make, what has our attention as Black consumers and think to myself are we retarded? Even woke is like this genre of social media activity that tries to engage in intellectual dialogue but it's so heavily wrapped in "white supremacy this, white supremacy that". Here's the strangest part... Sports is one of the few places Black people have been dominant categorically, yet none of our "culture" is a reflection of what it takes to become a great athlete. Imagine a basketball player loses their man in a basketball game, the coach calls a timeout and in the huddle the player says "but other people lose their man, I watched other games where players lose their man, the refs don't want us to win." Any good coach would say "shut the hell up and guard your man or come out of the game", if they don't lull you out for the response alone. Now imagine if everybody did that? That's what Black America has become. One big excuses and a sorry excuse at that. No amount of Obamafication can liberal wash the reality of Black America. We've essentially destroyed our standard of education and stunted our intellectual growth by hitching our wagon to a political philosophy, political agenda, political party that isn't even rooted in reality. I sat with this for a while, but it’s bothered me ever since I saw @JoeNBC say it last week, and I can’t stop thinking about it. Yes, it’s true that many Black people want police presence in their communities to help keep them safe. Scarborough even singled out Black women in particular. But here’s the critical nuance he missed: Black women do want safety. My wife wants safety. Any Black woman with a Black son will tell you that safety is complicated. They live in constant fear of their sons being harassed, brutalized, or even killed by police. So more police does not automatically equal feeling safe. And layering on top of this, the militarization of cities like DC is making that fear worse, not better.

She drops a Black empowerment song: Black community: “We’re tired of this Black empowerment music, Mufasa jams, drag queen music.” A non-Black person dances, covers, or appreciates the music: Black community: “This isn’t for them. Why are there white people at Club Renaissance? Why are they at Club Cowboy Carter? Do they even understand the theme of the music? We can’t have anything.” A song you said you didn’t hear, an event you didn’t attend. You’re mad that non-Black people are appreciating it? So what would you rather? Beyoncé drops music reclaiming Black genres that were whitewashed: Black community: “She’s so performative. She only cares about money. She’s using the Black community to stay relevant. I’m not streaming that.” Non-Black person: “That album healed me. I learned so much history. I’m writing an essay about it.” Black community: “This isn’t for y’all. Stay out of Black people’s business.” So why are you mad they’re appreciating music you don’t even want to support? Beyoncé releases Cécred: Black community: “She’s such a capitalist. Enough is enough, there are men who are absent… Then there are men that are being crushed by our systems meant to promote family, healing and productivity. Yet they inspired hostility, resentment and replace the father with the state. This can’t continue on this way. Corporate monopolies with unchecked power is NOT freedom. He talks about ‘capitalism’, but what he is describing in truth is cartelism. It’s barely one-dimensional. It’s the playground. You challenge white with black and black with white while the Cult sits laughing in the shades of grey controlling both. Over 1.5 million Muslim pilgrims are performing Hajj this year. When Malcolm X (El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz) performed Hajj in 1964, he wrote “Letters from Mecca.” This is one of those letters: Never have I witnessed such sincere hospitality and the overwhelming spirit of true brotherhood as practiced by people of all colors and races here in this Ancient Holy Land, the home of Abraham, Muhammad and all other prophets of the Holy Scriptures. For the past week, I have been utterly speechless and spellbound by the graciousness I see displayed all around me by people of all colors. I have been blessed to visit the Holy City of Mecca. I have made my seven circuits around the Ka’ba, led by a young Mutawaf named Muhammad. I drank water from the well of Zem Zem. I ran seven times back and forth between the hills of Mt. Al-Safa and Al-Marwah. I have prayed in the ancient city of Mina, and I have prayed on Mt. Arafat. There were tens of thousands of pilgrims, from all over the world. They were of all colors, from blue-eyed blonds to black skin Africans. But we were all participating in the same rituals, displaying a spirit of unity and brotherhood that my experiences in America had lead me to believe never could exist between the white and non-white. America needs to understand Islam, because this is the one religion that erases from its society the race problem. Throughout my travels in the Muslim world, I have met, talked to, and even eaten with people who in America would have considered ‘white’, but the ‘white’ attitude was removed from their minds by the religion of Islam. I have never before seen sincere and true brotherhood practiced by all colors together, irrespective of their color. You may be shocked by these words coming from me. But on this pilgrimage, what I have seen, and experienced, has forced me to re-arrange much of my thought patterns previously held, and to toss aside some of my previous conclusions. This was not too difficult for me. Despite my firm convictions, I have always been a man who tries to face facts, and to accept the reality of life as new experiences and new knowledge unfolds it. I have always kept an open mind, which is necessary to the flexibility that must go hand in hand with every form of intelligent search for truth. During the past eleven days here in the Muslim world, I have eaten from the same plate, drunk from the same glass, and slept in the same bed, (or on the same rug), while praying to the same God, with fellow Muslims, whose eyes were the bluest of blue, whose hair was the blondest of blond, and whose skin was the whitest of white. And in the same words and in the actions and in the deeds of the ‘white’ Muslims, I felt the same sincerity that I felt among the black African Muslims of Nigeria, Sudan and Ghana. We were truly all the same (brothers), because their belief in one God had removed the ‘white’ from their minds, the ‘white’ from their behavior, and the ‘white’ from their attitude. I could see from this, that perhaps if white Americans could accept the Oneness of God, then perhaps, too, they could accept in reality the Oneness of Man, and cease to measure, and hinder, and harm others in terms of their differences in color. With racism plaguing America like an incurable cancer, the so-called ‘Christian’ white American heart should be more receptive to a proven solution to such a destructive problem. Perhaps it could be in time to save America from imminent disaster, the same destruction brought upon Germany by racism that eventually destroyed the Germans themselves. 1/2

Over 1.5 million Muslim pilgrims are performing Hajj this year. When Malcolm X (El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz) performed Hajj in 1964, he wrote “Letters from Mecca.” This is one of those letters: Never have I witnessed such sincere hospitality and the overwhelming spirit of true brotherhood as practiced by people of all colors and races here in this Ancient Holy Land, the home of Abraham, Muhammad and all other prophets of the Holy Scriptures. For the past week, I have been utterly speechless and spellbound by the graciousness I see displayed all around me by people of all colors. I have been blessed to visit the Holy City of Mecca. I have made my seven circuits around the Ka’ba, led by a young Mutawaf named Muhammad. I drank water from the well of Zem Zem. I ran seven times back and forth between the hills of Mt. Al-Safa and Al-Marwah. I have prayed in the ancient city of Mina, and I have prayed on Mt. Arafat. There were tens of thousands of pilgrims, from all over the world. They were of all colors, from blue-eyed blonds to black skin Africans. But we were all participating in the same rituals, displaying a spirit of unity and brotherhood that my experiences in America had lead me to believe never could exist between the white and non-white. America needs to understand Islam, because this is the one religion that erases from its society the race problem. Throughout my travels in the Muslim world, I have met, talked to, and even eaten with people who in America would have considered ‘white’, but the ‘white’ attitude was removed from their minds by the religion of Islam. I have never before seen sincere and true brotherhood practiced by all colors together, irrespective of their color. You may be shocked by these words coming from me. But on this pilgrimage, what I have seen, and experienced, has forced me to re-arrange much of my thought patterns previously held, and to toss aside some of my previous conclusions. This was not too difficult for me. Despite my firm convictions, I have always been a man who tries to face facts, and to accept the reality of life as new experiences and new knowledge unfolds it. I have always kept an open mind, which is necessary to the flexibility that must go hand in hand with every form of intelligent search for truth. During the past eleven days here in the Muslim world, I have eaten from the same plate, drunk from the same glass, and slept in the same bed, (or on the same rug), while praying to the same God, with fellow Muslims, whose eyes were the bluest of blue, whose hair was the blondest of blond, and whose skin was the whitest of white. And in the same words and in the actions and in the deeds of the ‘white’ Muslims, I felt the same sincerity that I felt among the black African Muslims of Nigeria, Sudan and Ghana.
