Do we have any of HQ-9BE of PAF or HQ-17AE?

There is a reason why this HQ9 interceptor failed to engage the BrahMos: the HQ9 interceptor ignition and launch sequence introduced excessive delay, reducing the available engagement window.

It didn't fail where it was used it successfully intercepted even 3 brahmos+Scalp saturation attack. But it's expensive pak used it very carefully only to protect certain locations and numbers are small.

Someone who was deployed in Shorkot airbase as technical/engineering support staff in May 2025, told me it was SPADA which intercepted three Indian SCALP/BRAHMOS missiles.

Need something better.

You already have HQ-9BE AND HQ-16FE

It is expensive for intercepting a drone or it was just a test ?

In test's you usually use drones as a target
