I think this is an excellent idea to tear down the statue of George Floyd & replace it with a Statue of Charlie Kirk. Plus they could make that Statue of Charlie Kirk a National Monument. That way if someone decides to vandalizes it or spray paint it. It would be considered a felony & that person will go to prison for the next 5 years

Even today, at Gurdwara Datansar Sahib at Muktsar, devotees strike a grave five times with their shoes - a powerful reminder that betrayal is never forgiven, and never forgotten. And yet, I am compelled to ask: what kind of Sikhs forget this lesson so easily? Those who allow Namaz inside Gurudwaras, those who donate their land to build Masjids - have they forgotten the blood, the deception, the sacrifices that shaped Sikh history? This ritual traces back to 1705, during one of the most dangerous phases of Sikh history. Near present-day Sri Muktsar Sahib, Guru Gobind Singh Ji stopped at dawn to clean his teeth after days of war and pursuit. A Mughal spy Noordin, had disguised himself as a Sikh and attempted to attack the Guru from behind. The betrayal failed. Guru struck down the attacker, protecting both his life and the future of the Khalsa. The traitor was buried nearby, but his act was never forgotten.

Pope Leo on June 8, during his trip to Spain, will hand a golden rose to Our Lady of Almudena, patroness of Madrid. In 712, when Muslims invaded, the people of Madrid sealed Our Lady in the wall to protect it. In the 11th century, when Madrid was reconquered by King Alfonso VI of Castile, Christian soldiers wanted to find the statue, but they did not know where it was sealed. After days of prayer, the spot on the wall hiding the icon crumbled, revealing the statue. Same statue will process through Bernabeu soccer stadium during the Monday meeting with the diocesan community of Madrid.

Today in the heart of Ibadan, history came alive as we erected the statue of Balogun Ibikunle at Ẹ̀lẹyẹle Roundabout, the same route he once passed on his way to war. The monument was commissioned by the Olubadan of Ibadan alongside the representative of the state governor, with members of the Ibikunle family from home and abroad led by Oloye Abdul-Lateef Akintola Ibikunle. For us, this is more than a statue. It is a symbol of the bravery, sacrifice and legacy of our forefathers. Indeed, this is a proud time to come from Ibadan a city of warriors, culture and rich history.

Titled “The Statue of Liberty’s Silent Protest,” the piece was painted in by Dutch artist Judith de Leeuw on a building. “Freedom, hope, the right to be yourself—those values are lost for many,” de Leeuw said, pointing to Roubaix’s large migrant population living in hardship.
