“Huge disability in a modern society shouldn't be allowed!” Journalist Peter Hitchens says dyslexia does not exist, but rather is a ‘made-up disability’ that has been turned into a multi-million pound industry. “Teach children to read, you wouldn’t have dyslexia!” Mike Graham 🇬🇧

Please do more research about dyslexia! Dyslexia is widely recognized in the scientific and medical communities as a neurobiological learning disability that affects reading, writing, and spelling abilities. It is not related to intelligence, vision, or hearing, but rather stems from differences in how the brain processes language and visual information.

@Iromg It does exist. No doubt theres illiteracy too. The 2 mustn't be confused. Hitchens is losing the plot.

@Iromg He's a weird one is Peter. Of course dyslexia exists it's a proven medical condition as is dyspraxia.

@Iromg Don't agree it doesn't exist, I for one have an issue with i and e and have to constantly use the saying to get it right. Diagnosis may be abused to gain benefits but I wouldn't think of claiming a disability, and I won't be taking you to court for hurt feelings if you laugh!

@Iromg Hitchens Intellectual prowess is a "made-up ability" created in his fevered mind...pompous old cnut...

𝐀 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐢𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐞 ‘𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒐’ Americans of all political affiliation suddenly woke up realize they agree that their healthcare system is inherently cruel and produces unnecessary misery. ★ NEW ARTICLE ⬇️

@Iromg This is absolutely shocking I'm disgusted

@Iromg Is there a subject Hitchens isn't consulted as an expert in, with his BA in Journalism?

I can read, yet I am dyslexic and was diagnosed in 1976. I ended up becoming an operating department practitioner. It just takes effort to overcome dyslexia, it's hard but in the end it's worth it. I read for pleasure and knowledge acquisition. Too many lazy people not putting in the effort is the problem with so many children, that and lazy parents who have given i phones to their toddlers to shut them up and no books in the house. That is the problem.

@Iromg Nonsense from Peter again. It isn't to do with people not knowing how to read. So unbelievably ignorant.

@Iromg Imagine having to put insufferable cunt as your occupation on a passport application.
