Update from Universal Ostrich Farms Days after the slaughter it appears that CFIA is getting closer to leaving. Flatbeds and trucks have been seen in the area and we suspect they will be used to collect the fencing around the property. People, including myself, are still dealing with the trauma from what happened here. I think I'm mostly out of shock and exhaustion and emotion are setting in. There's still a lot to do here. There will be a lot of work to do once the CFIA and RCMP clear out, I will update as things progress.
