Hugh Jackman has always been at his best when he’s singing & dancing (yes, that includes Wolverine). Les Misérables, The Greatest Showman, his time on Broadway- even hosting the Oscars- this is where Jackman shines brightest. He’s great in Song Sung Blue- you should see it.

Hugh Jackman had never even heard of Wolverine before landing the role. Hugh Jackman says Russell Crowe was originally approached to play Wolverine but recommended Jackman instead. Jackman admitted: > "I'd never heard of X-Men." > "I didn't even know there was an animal called a wolverine." Thinking Wolverine was basically a wolf, he studied wolves before filming and even based his movements on them. When he showed up to rehearsal, director Bryan Singer stopped him. Jackman: "I was thinking wolves..." Singer: "Wolves? You're a wolverine." Jackman: "I said, 'What? No such thing.'" Singer told him to visit the zoo and see one for himself. Despite initially knowing almost nothing about the character, Jackman went on to become the longest-running actor to play Wolverine on screen. Do you think anyone else could have played Wolverine better than Hugh Jackman?

Ryan Reynolds says Wolverine’s rant in the car in ‘DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE’ is the scene he’s most proud of. “It’s one of the most beautiful scenes in the movie because you see what a raw, visceral, powerhouse of an actor Hugh Jackman is”

Billy Crudup is the best part of Jay Kelly & deserves an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. I found this film to be a letdown overall but Crudup- even in limited screen time- shines brightest. He’s an actor I’ve always loved & deserves a seat at this year’s Oscars.

Hugh Jackman should’ve stopped playing Wolverine after Logan. Jackman’s refusal to just retire Wolverine & move on with his career is disappointing & I hope he doesn’t return in Doomsday. I wrote back in 2018 that Jackman deserved consideration for an Oscar after what he did in Logan. In a word? Sublime. Had it not been such a loaded year, Jackman might’ve gotten a nom. Not only that, my love for director James Mangold grew even stronger after this movie. It’s the perfect send off. There’s no better way to say goodbye to a character than this film. This should’ve been the final note.

I co-founded a healthy food company Thistle. I haven't been very involved in it for years but it always brings me a smile when I see it, in this case in an IG reel. Hugh Jackman is just like me - riding around on a CitiBike & fitting his Thistle bag in the basket!

Hugh Jackman’s performance in Prisoners is probably one of the best I have ever seen. Hugh Jackman in Prisoners isn’t performing a role ,he’s slowly burning it from the inside. He delivers a performance that feels carved out of fear. It’s one of those performances lingers long after the screen goes dark. Hugh Jackman avoided rehearsing emotional peaks. He didn’t want his breakdowns to feel planned. Many of Keller’s most devastating moments were shaped on set.

🚨YOU CAN’T BE TOLD THEY MUST BE SHOWN HUGH JACKMAN’S EX-WIFE DEBRAH LEE FURNESS BREAKS HER SILENCE ON BETRAYAL AS A DIVORCE FINALIZES Hugh Jackman has a very controversial friend Rupert Murdoch One rumor that publishers might be looking for Furness to address is baseless speculation about Jackman’s sexuality that has circulated for decades. “It’s no secret after almost three decades of being wed to him, adopting two children together While Hugh Jackman has faced years of speculation, he has made it clear that he is not gay. Regardless, his unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community is admirable. Hugh Jackman is known to rub elbows with many famous faces, but many may not know that he's close friends with media mogul Rupert Murdoch. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jackman explained that he first met the owner of Fox News through Nicole Kidman years ago. "It was Nicole's birthday, and we all went to Soho House in New York, and we were in the pool. He was holding his daughter, and I was holding my son, and we became friends," he recalled. Even though Murdoch has a reputation for shady dealings and bad journalism, as well as a hacking scandal surrounding his now-defunct newspaper, News of the World, Jackman had nothing but good things to say about his bestie. "He loves having friends and family around. A lot of people in his life are there for a long time. He looks after them and appreciates them. He's very caring and thoughtful and incredibly respectful of everybody around him," Jackman said of Murdoch. Fans are quick to give Jackman the side-eye to this day. "You might think Wolverine is cool. But Hugh Jackman has been best friends with Rupert Murdoch for decades,"

Hugh Jackman was an excellent #Oscar host & this opening song & dance at the 81st Academy Awards back in 2009 is something I’ll always remember. This was electric. It’s also a great display of Jackman’s talent as a performer. Overall it’s just a vintage Oscar moment.

Hugh Jackman reveals the emotional reaction when he finally put on Wolverine’s iconic yellow and blue suit. Hugh Jackman: “For 24 years, people have been talking about it. It was one of the first things Ryan said to me: ‘I wanna do it.’ And he goes, ‘We’re gonna do the yellow and blue.’ I was like, ‘Alright, I’m in.’ In my head, I was like, ‘I don’t know if it’s gonna work.’ As soon as I put it on, he had his Deadpool suit on, I had mine, and we walked onto the set. There were 100 crew members who had done 100 movies and seen everything. You could hear a pin drop. Everything—it was just a hush. There was one guy there, Billy Lawless, who’s Ryan’s dresser. He started to cry. His kid’s name is Logan, just so you know. And he goes, ‘This is the best day of my life.’ It’s the best. It looks so good. It feels so good. Except when you’re urinating, it does not feel good.” Jimmy Fallon: “It must be hard to get out of that.” Hugh Jackman: “It’s like a labyrinth getting there. It’s very hard.”

Stanley Tucci has grown extremely famous over the last decade or so, but don’t let his heightened fame have you forget that he’s an unbelievable actor. This man can cook great food, sure, but his bread & butter has always been on screen. He’s back in theaters May 1. I’m excited.

Steph Curry on Darius Garland, who said he grew up watching Curry: “It’s surreal that you’re this deep into your career and you have that influence. He was a guy when he first showed up in Cleveland that you knew was gonna be a problem in the league just because of his skillset, his composure. Obviously his speed. He’s just a gamer. I know he’s been dealing with some injuries early in the year and over the course of his career. But when he’s out there he’s always a threat. It’s great to see him continue to grow, and even in a new setting continuing to figure it out.”

It’s a “great honor” that GB native and Raiders teammate Alec Ingold is at Josh Jacobs’ camp: “He’s the best fullback in football, but he’s an even better man. Since I met him, he’s always been my dog. He’s always been genuine. Most hard-working, humble dude that I’ve ever met.”

Max Dowman, this is Arsenal’s best attacker at 16 years old. He commands a different kind of authority when he has the ball at his feet. He’s one of the few players you can always expect to create magic when he’s on the ball. A special talent.

Nick Nolte is 85. An actor I love. He’s made countless films & dozens of movies that I will always watch for as long as I live. His #Oscar nominated performance in Warrior is one of his best. He puts his entire soul on the line & then some. This is a film you should see.
