Joe shared the raw footage with me and fed it through CamCutApp Based on the telemetry it does appear that FSD turned the wheel back in the last moment before the driver took over. This happened really fast and probably pretty scary to experience. FSD seems to have reacted to a phantom orb and veered towards the oncoming vehicle for a moment.

FSD 14.3.4 just read a hand signal from the Jeep driver wanting to merge. Like most polite humans (you know, not the assholes 😂), it smoothly slowed down and let him in. This kind of natural, human-like awareness from my Tesla never gets old. Absolutely love it 🤩

I have no idea why fsd 13.2.9 didn't slow / stop in this situation. Fsd was going ~40mph and doesn't see firetruck or respond to vehicle in my lane slowing down. For the people who will say I shouldn't have disengaged, there was no slowing down occurring, & I'm not chancing it with 6.8k lbs to hope it stops fast enough.
