HEAVY RAINS IN HYDERABAD: JT. CP TRAFFIC SRI JOEL DAVIS, IPS CONDUCTS FIELD INSPECTION AT WATERLOGGING POINTS HYDERABAD: In view of the heavy rainfall across Hyderabad today, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Hyderabad City, Sri Joel Davis, IPS, appealed to all city residents to remain alert and cautious. To ensure smooth traffic flow and safety, the Joint CP personally conducted field inspections at major waterlogging points, including Lakdikapul, Ayodhya Junction, and PTI Masab Tank. During the inspection, Sri Joel Davis, IPS, reviewed the water drainage arrangements and traffic regulation measures on the ground. As rainwater accumulation has slowed down vehicle movement in several parts of the city, traffic personnel are actively deployed on the roads to manage traffic flow. Advisory for Citizens and Commuters: •Avoid Unnecessary Travel: Citizens are strongly advised to stay indoors and refrain from step out unless it is absolutely necessary. •Drive Safely and Follow Instructions: Commuters on the road must drive cautiously at very low speeds and strictly follow the directions of traffic police personnel on duty. •Plan Extra Travel Time: Those who need to travel urgently are advised to plan their journeys with sufficient extra time due to slow-moving traffic. •Follow Official Updates: Citizens are urged to stay updated by checking the official social media handles of the Hyderabad Traffic Police for real-time traffic updates and advisories. Issued By:Office of the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic),Hyderabad City.

A puppy was thrown to the ground during Vinayaka Nimajjan celebrations in Hyderabad. Imagine how frightened that little dog must have been amid the noise and crowds. Celebration is no excuse for cruelty. Hyderabad City Police , please identify those responsible and take action. #AnimalCruelty

#StreetAuditHyderabad This morning around KBR Park The effort the Hyderabad City Police and Traffic Police have put in for the new one-way loop around KBR. The department stationed officers every 100–200 metres at every junction to guide traffic. What stood out most was how patiently they helped pedestrians and cyclists who weren’t yet familiar with the new routing — pointing out directions, easing the confusion, and making sure no one was left stranded at a crossing. It wasn’t just about managing vehicles; it was about looking out for the most vulnerable road users first. Kudos to the leadership and every officer on the ground today for this level of planning and on-ground support. Thank you, Hyderabad City Police 🚦👮 Office of V.C. Sajjanar, IPS V.C. ‼️‼️ Unacceptable ‼️‼️ ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 We are deeply concerned, upset and worried about the slow and gradual damages to our #Hyderabad pride, world class (second in world) infrastructure #HyderabadCyclingTrack With the constant encroachments from road/motor vehicle infrastructure. Anything is NOT enough for the car infrastructure. There will be more and more needs for car space and you will always have the vulnerable Cycling track to disturb. Hope you listen to the concerning voice of #CyclingCommunityOfHyderabad Also, this was never posted about earlier in any announcement or no updates to the community before the work started. This is unacceptable!! Finally, pls note the famous quote - A City is a developed city when people move by walking, cycling and public transportation!
