Final Lecture of our Statistical Mechanics Series. Lecture 2 showed how we move from the Full Phase-Space Density ρ(q₁, …, qₙ, p₁, …, pₙ, t) to smaller statistical objects by integrating out variables we do not want to keep. That gives reduced descriptions like the One-Particle Density f₁(q₁,p₁,t) and the Two-Particle Density f₂(q₁,p₁,q₂,p₂,t) This was the simplification. Now comes the catch. If the Full Density obeys Liouville’s Equation, the reduced densities do not evolve independently. The equation for one level depends on the next one and this is referred to as the BBGKY hierarchy. The One-Particle Density depends on the Two-Particle Density. The Two-Particle Density depends on the Three-Particle Density. And the chain keeps going. That happens because particles interact. Once one particle feels the rest, one-particle information is no longer enough. Correlations enter, and the lower level is fed from above. If the full Hamiltonian is H = Σᵢ pᵢ²/(2m) + Σᵢ U(qᵢ) + (1/2) Σᵢ Σⱼ≠ᵢ Φ(qᵢ − qⱼ) then reducing the full density does not make the interaction terms disappear. It leaves behind coupling to higher-order reduced densities. So, schematically, ∂f₁/∂t + transport of one particle = interaction term involving f₂ and more generally the heirarchy is such that ∂fₛ/∂t + s-particle transport = interaction term involving fₛ₊₁ Therefore, Lecture 3 is really about the price of reduction. We simplify the description, but the information we remove comes back as coupling to higher-order correlations. So, how do you actually compute anything if every level depends on the next one? This is the so-called Closure Problem. To make the hierarchy usable, you need an extra assumption that cuts the chain. You replace the exact higher-order object by an approximation in terms of lower-order ones. The most basic example is a factorized closure at the pair level, where the exact correlated Two-Particle Density is replaced schematically by a product of One-Particle Densities: f₂(q₁,p₁,q₂,p₂,t) ≈ f₁(q₁,p₁,t) f₁(q₂,p₂,t) That approximation is not exact. Finally got some time to work on Three.js Water Pro again. Testing out the new foam trails system tonight. Each buoyant object has its own foam generator so you can customize the foam trail for each object (size, decay, opacity, etc.). Foam system now includes wave crests, surface, shoreline, and trails! Last feature remaining for the V2 release is sea spray. This one has proven to be a bit tricky so I'm still testing out different solutions.

Here's my conversation with Don Lincoln about some of the biggest open questions in physics, including dark energy, dark matter, the matter-antimatter imbalance, quantum vacuum, quantum foam, and the quest to unify the laws of physics. Don is a particle physicist at Fermilab who has spent decades working at the frontiers of high energy physics. He is also a great teacher & writer. I highly recommend his courses & books. One of my favorite lecture series he has given is The Evidence for Modern Physics where he breaks down the experiments that validate some of the weird laws of physics we have, and what it would take to validate even the weirder ones. It's not enough to come up with a beautiful theory. You also have to show through experiment that the theory is likely to be correct. Finally new version of text system is released on our website ! I released as update to old version but in reality it's completely new thing in material and lot's of work in verse. I'm still working on documentation or/and videos but here is a list of good stuff it does: - Material got much lighter as slots logic moved to vertex shader. - Characters can overlap and still won't be cut out compared to old version. - Character can be animated and I already implemented some (wave, scale up/down and shake). - Custom face camera logic which works with prop scale so no need to additionally specify with and height. - Rows offset automatically when scale up or down any row. - Text effects now can be applied to any character, so words or single character. - Custom glint which works perfectly with any number of rows as a single line with multiple important controls. - Higher quality outline with two parameters to control inner and outer edge. - Timer logic split into to parts, verse and material. Verse setup initial layout and reserve slots for timer digits and then each second just sends seconds value and GPU makes timer tick freeing verse TPS by huge number. - To apply effects simply need use parsing markup with custom tag where N number between 1-9. So simply can write " Hello World" and word Hello will have rainbow effect applied. Currently implemented 4 effects. - To use icons in slots from texture array is as simple as specify another tag [iconN] where N is number of icon in array. So for example if coin is icon index 0 just need to write [icon1]100K. - Progress bar is supported as well and can be snapped to row without eyeball offset. - Background image supported now too! In the video yellow one is as test and you can use any of your own. Verse side got lots of changes: - Now saves/caches layouts better. - Smart packing of data allowed drastically reduce number of parameters, which should help with network optimization! - Instead having vector parameter per each slot to just send character index and position (32x5=160 if used 5 rows) now it's only 11 vector parameters per each row so 11x5=55 which is huge save and it sends text effects index in it too! - Implemented text update queue for text which doesn't require instant update. It helps to give more breathing for other text props which needs that speed. - Materials code now use interface and wrappers for cleaner work. From 2027, Zimbabwe will require every school without exception to register its learners for ZIMSEC examinations. The era of parallel foreign examination systems operating outside our national framework is over. It's mandatory for all students to write ZIMSEC. However, schools wishing to offer both ZIMSEC and Cambridge should apply for permission to do so provided there is justification for it. This is not an attack on academic excellence. We are not banning Cambridge examinations .This is an assertion of national sovereignty over our own Education System. Zimbabwe's children deserve to be assessed on a common, uniform standard one that this government controls, benchmarks, and continuously improves. For too long, a two-tier system has told some children that their futures are validated in Cambridge and told others that ZIMSEC is somehow second best. That ends now. Private institutions operating on Zimbabwean soil have a clear directive: align with the national framework. This is not negotiable. Government policy is unambiguous comply or fall out of step with the direction this Republic is moving. We are building one education system. One standard. One Zimbabwe. Every child regardless of the school they attend or the uniform they wear deserves equal recognition under a national framework that belongs to all of us.All School Kids are the same.

This is for all the people in the arena ( your life, your career, your family ) who are doing it for them .. not for the validation of the crowd One of the great issues in our society right now is that people live their lives for outside validation, for the clicks, for the likes, for the followers, for the comments. This isn't just in social media. This is happening in the analog and real world too. Too many people are keeping up with the Joneses and worried about what people think about them. They worry about what people think about how much money they have, what school they go to, or even worse, what school their kids go to, and on and on and on … I will continue to make content with the hope it breaks someone out of the hamster wheel and that’s that ❤️❤️❤️❤️

first test results are in. qwen 3.6 27b dense just banged 10 out of 10 on a single rtx 3090 24gb tier at 40 tok/s. no quant tricks. no fused kernels. just q4_k_m straight cut on llama.cpp. i wrote a particle swarm benchmark this morning, fed it the prompt, and the model autonomously built a 500 particle boids flocking system. velocity driven hue, density based brightness, trail blend rendering, mouse attraction physics, click bursts, drag paint. then it used browser automation to test its own work, found the failing tests, iterated through the code, patched tests.js, and landed all 10 green on its own. i sat there hooked for 8 minutes playing. simple but mesmerizing. mouse trails build beautiful patterns, palette cycles with space, click sends particles flying, drag paints through the swarm. simplicity that hooks you. i'll open source this prompt and the build soon so anyone can reproduce it as their own benchmark. this is the first of 5 single file agent tests i wrote for this model. four more coming. octopus invaders flagship after as final. watch the full video below. see it autonomously build from one prompt. haven't slept well since this model dropped yesterday.

There is absolutely nothing purer in this world than the “Post-Vet Reward Trip.” He was the bravest boy for the doctor, so naturally, we had to stop by the store for a little prize.
