i always had struggles "dissolving" mesh particles, especially since in this game I try to have no alpha transparency progressive dithering doesn't always look good but i have a new trick and it's great! i just painted a super quick dissolve map in blender 😍 was so easy!

That’s great! Why not using a vertex color channel instead of a bitmap in that case?

As per usual, everything can be solved with textures.

Clever and looks great! Why don't you want any alpha transparency?

That's a cool shorthand! Will remember for sure. I was usually using a tiling texture but this is really nice.

exactly, i was too lazy to figure out how to UV map a tiling texture 😅

simple but clever

![Stellan Skarsgård was scared to do his monologue in #Andor S1 because it was so good "I always have problems remembering lines ... especially now since I've had a stroke ... so I have [the lines] in my ear by a prompter" "I didn't want to fuck it up"](https://image.24vids.com/tw-1917330582729810236/media/FlM9VWMaEAI-KJI.png)
