i always had struggles "dissolving" mesh particles, especially since in this game I try to have no alpha transparency progressive dithering doesn't always look good but i have a new trick and it's great! i just painted a super quick dissolve map in blender 😍 was so easy!

That’s great! Why not using a vertex color channel instead of a bitmap in that case?

That's a cool shorthand! Will remember for sure. I was usually using a tiling texture but this is really nice.
