I always thought I couldn’t do 100s. 85s felt difficult. I just kept telling myself once these 85s feel easy and I can do more than 8 for 3 sets then I’ll move to 100s. I kept telling myself it was too heavy.. so it was. If you tell... yourself you can’t do something, you can’t. It’s ok to be uncomfortable. I’ve learned this so here I was last week stepping out of my comfort zone. I decided to go for 100s last week and hopefully press it a couple of times. I got it 7 times for the first set but I was gassed out and could not do more. Today I did 3 sets both incline and flat press on 100s. Moral of the story: be kind to yourself and believe in yourself. If you don’t, then you won’t. You are your worst enemy at times, but that’s a decision. Decide to be your number one cheerleader, instead.show more

(long clip & transcription ‼️) 🎭: if i was asked one year ago if i wanted to perform in Concerto, i would've said no. there was a different kind of event that i was asked if i would like to participate and i actually said no to it. because up until recently like a few months ago, i had extremely bad imposter syndrome. 🎭: i didn't feel like i deserved to stand on stage, i didn't feel like i was ready and i kept doubting myself and was like "there's no way i would be able to perform to people's standards and stuff" so i politely declined being in an event a long time ago. 🎭: this time for Concerto when i was asked to participate, i was thinking of the same thing too but i thought about it a little more. i thought to myself like "if you're not gonna participate now then when are you going to do it? if you keep saying no to all these opportunities, they're all going to slip past." so i keep telling myself, "if you're gonna do it now then when are you going to do it?" 🎭: and i was inspired a little by my recent short covers and dance covers because ive been planning to release them for quite a long time actually. just the thought of that made me think, "i'm trying to work so hard on these other things so why don't i just try to do this as well?" 🎭: so i finally decided that i'm going to try this time to step up on stage and i want to be the proof to everyone that works hard that if you work hard eventually something good will come your way 🎭: i want everyone to be able to look at me and be like, "if he can work hard and do what he wants to do, then i can do it too." i think that's one of the biggest reasons i decided to participate and stand on this stage is because i want to inspire people because i came from nothing 🎭: i had no singing experience, no dancing experience, no japanese experience. when i first joined, i didn't even know how to read hiragana very well. i didn't even know wtf katakana was 🎭: i'm always thankful for the love and support everyone gives me. if it wasn't for you guys, i would really have said no so thank you. i really owe everything to all of you that always around and always supporting #knoxclips thank you for not giving up!!!! 😭🧡

My image was someone practices hard and is an FM kind of friend but I wanted to say a lot of things but I don’t know how to express it so I kept holding it in but I couldn’t hold it anymore so I bursted once! I said “hyungs, you can’t be like this!” “I’ll leave the team!” 👤 Really? to all of your hyungs? 🦦 Yes, in the dorms. Everyone got flustered. I was crying and angry. Namjoon talking about how friends mean so much to him, but wishes to be able to do things on his own too. 🐨: I don't like myself sometimes um when I'm when I feel like I'm too obsessed with the relationships. Like I always ask myself like, could you just please be on your own for a second? Why do you always need somebody to talk to or to go for a trip? Just could you just let yourself be alone um for like a week? And because I felt I sometimes feel I mostly feel really hard to be just do nothing and just be on my own. So, but friends um I think sometimes they're everything.

Junkyu being open about his burnout and how he overcame that phase is something that truly amazed me. His beautiful words that encourage everyone why pacing yourself actually matters 🥺🤍 🐨: I actually went through myself a burnout recently… was it in 2025? It’s not that I started to hate music, but when it came to making music, to working on it, I hit burnout. I really did. Nothing felt fun anymore, and no matter what I did, I just couldn’t move forward. No matter what—seriously, no matter what. 🐨: I work on music on my Mac, right? and I didn’t turn it on for a whole year. A year? Maybe even a year and a half? Since sometime in late 2024? It’s not that I chose not to turn it on—I couldn’t. That thought kept coming to me, “Even if I turn it on, nothing will come out” or maybe, “Even if I turn it on, I won’t get anywhere close to what I want”. My interest just… how should I say it… completely dropped. So I couldn’t turn it on. I was scared—scared that I’d have to face that feeling again. So I kept my distance from it. 🐨: But this time, starting in Korea and then going on tour, meeting TEUMEs a lot as we move through 2025 and into 2026, without even realizing it, I felt refreshed. Like I’d been aired out and I thought, “Huh? should I try again?”, “I kind of want to do it again”. “I want to go back to when I really enjoyed this”. “I want to try again—the thing I loved back then. So I finally made up my mind and turned it on. and when I did… it had been so long that I got chills. I’d forgotten everything—the details, the keys, everything. “How did I even do this before?”, “What values did I use?” I’d forgotten it all. 🐨: I completely panicked. I thought, “Oh… is this how it ends?”, “Is this how I lose the thing I love?” I was honestly really scared. And then another thought came to me “turn a crisis into an opportunity”. Maybe this is a chance for me to find something else I love. Maybe I should let it go. I was almost halfway in a state of giving up. But somehow, my body followed through anyway. My hands kept moving—on their own. Somehow, I knew what to do, how to do it. and naturally, without stopping, the flow didn’t break. So maybe I want to stay with music for a really long time in my life. And I think this process of slowing myself down a bit was part of that. Looking back now, the pace had been way too fast, and I couldn’t control myself. I’d pushed myself to the limit of what I could create, and after that, there was nothing left. 🐨: At that point, I was kind of cruel to myself. I blamed myself for everything… It’s a really bad habit, I think, but it just happens reflexively. So I was really hard on myself. That’s when I realized I needed to take a step back, give myself some distance, and look at things over a longer period of time. Yeah… if you just move at your own pace—not faster, not slower—you can do something for a long time. So I think if you want to spend your life with something you really love—whatever it is—you can’t go too fast. If your passion just burns up too quickly, it can cause problems. That’s why pacing yourself matters. If you manage your pace, you can live your life alongside the things you love for a long, long time. I really felt it this time. And because of that, I was so happy. Being able to do what I love again brought back so many memories, and it felt like I’d returned to those days when I used to enjoy it so purely. That made me incredibly happy.

I’m not even sure if I would be injury free’ “You’ve talked quite a bit about the break you took last year to refresh mentally, I’m curious, was that an easy decision or a difficult decision?” Elina: “It was a difficult decision on one hand. But then I spoke with my team. I spoke with Gael. I spoke with my family and we found also a bunch of positives for it. I think I mentioned already earlier a couple days back that if I didn’t stop.. if I kept pushing last year.. I wouldn’t start here. I would be exhausted. I’m not even sure if I would be injury free. When you play at the highest level and you push yourself and you are on the edge, this is where the injuries happen. This is where the tension is just too much and your body gives up. For me it was important to just step back. I’m very happy I did that. This was tough, but it was me being real. I do love you guys, you guys genuinely give me motivation to want to be better for myself, but at times being depressed can definitely get the best of you. I thought I’d share that I go through it too, and if you’re experiencing depression in any ways I just wanted to say that you aren’t alone, but we will get through it. Thank you once again for those that watched, it does mean a lot knowing I have all of you guys in my life, and if anyone feels alone going through a battle of your own don’t be hesitant on reaching out, I’d love to give you some words of encouragement.

This was tough, but it was me being real. I do love you guys, you guys genuinely give me motivation to want to be better for myself, but at times being depressed can definitely get the best of you. I thought I’d share that I go through it too, and if you’re experiencing depression in any ways I just wanted to say that you aren’t alone, but we will get through it. #JANHAE #JANIVERSE space #1 pt.2 - why she decided to get her styes removed ☹️💜 🦊: i went to the hospital; i was mentally ok at that time. when i went to the hospital and waited for the doctor. at first, i was going to go the same place [i normally go], but the doctor was fully booked there. so i switched to another hospital, but i had also been to this one too. there were a lot of people too, so i went back here and got a slot. i waited for the doctor 🦊: once i saw the doctor, they asked, “let me take a look at your eye.” they then checked by flipping my eyelid over and looking at it. they were like, “oh here! i see it here! there seems to be two [styes].” i was like, “right, doctor? i also saw two.” because i could see them at the edge of my eye, like there were swollen bumps. the doctor was like, “wow you’re so good! how did you see them? you flipped your eyelids and looked at them yourself?” then they continued checking for a while and showed me pictures. they said, “here! what i’m seeing is right here” which were actually inside my eye 🦊: everyone! people who have had a stye might know what that is, but people who have never had one before - it’s the inside of your eyelid. when you flip your upper eyelid, you’ll see something like pus there. and there were two spots. i was shocked at that time. i asked the doctor “so what should i do?” the doctor said there were two options. if i was afraid of needles, then take medicine. but if i wasn’t scared, then get it surgically removed 🦊: then in my mind, “i’ve never had procedures in this area. what should i do?” honestly, i wanted to get it over with. and [i also thought] how [serious] the prcoedure would be, because the last time i had one, the doctor just… i thought it was already the procedure. it was just pricking the oil glands, but that one got better and went down, right? so i thought it was something like that and would get better, like a little more than this. i didn’t think it was going to be serious. so i said i wasn’t afraid of needles, but i also asked how long it would take before getting better, in terms of the wound, or if i could wear makeup 🦊: they said, “well, i would want you to give it about a week before you wear makeup. on the inside, it might take around 2 weeks for the wound to get better. so cut back on wearing contact lenses for now.” i thought, “wow so long! but does that mean the procedure would be bigger than the one i did with pricking?” at that time, i still thought what they did was a surgery. so i was like, “the procedure was bigger than the one i did?” 🦊: so i started to think, “nope, i can’t do it,” and said, “then what if i take medicine instead, doctor?” the doctor said, “it might go down if you take medicine. but it might still come back up again. i don’t know when it might swell up again. if you take medicine, it might only temporarily suppress it.” so i opened up my work schedule. i didn’t dare to risk and let it swell up during don’t know when, everyone! do you get it? 🦊: after this, i still have more back-to-back work. and the doctor also recommended that it would be better to get it removed through procedures. so i decided, “ok, i’ll have the procedure.”

🐰 i had a schedule last night and i started work a little late today so i woke up early and came here in the morning to work out…i’m not in my senses right now, i’ve been tired all day 🐿️ what did you work out? 🐰 i did chest work outs 🐰 i definitely said “i want to do chest work outs today!” but the protocol team member with me made me start by doing shoulder work outs so i didn’t think much of it and was like “hehe okay shoulders” but then i thought of it again and remembered that i was going to do chest work outs 🐰 i went into the second set and was like “i was supposed to work out my chest” 🐿️ ah it was the second work out? 🐰 yeah 🐿️ you worked out your shoulders a lot then 🐰 right? i’m on a mission right now to work out at least 4 times in a week
