We used #cryoEM to determine structures of the two Integrator sub-complexes, which allowed modelling of the fully assembled integrator bound to paused RNA polymerase II.

We employed @GoogleDeepMind #AlphaFold2 to screen potential protein-protein interactions between Integrator subunits and over 1500 transcription factors. Candidate hits were validated experimentally by proteomics, mass photometry and pull-down analysis.

We identified ZNF655 as a novel factor associating with the integrator and potentially modulating transcription attenuation.
