Our standard of living, our industries and environment must be put ahead of net zero, that’s what China and India are doing. - China has over 1,000 coal plants with 2060 climate targets and they are building nuclear, solar and wind. - India has nearly 300 coal plants with 2070 targets and they are building nuclear, solar and wind. - When China and India finally stop importing our coal they will still be global manufacturing giants thanks to nuclear and we will be constantly replacing solar, turbines and batteries all imported from China. - the majority of solar and wind farms are owned by overseas corporations who get ongoing tax payer subsidies, middle men who broker these deals can get 5% commission and are not subject to FOI. I am not happy to put my faith in this ongoing ponzi scheme I want nuclear added to the renewables mix.
