Caitlin Clark fans are sharing this video all over social media. They are upset because the Stephanie White had the opportunity to praise Caitlin INDIVIDUALLY last night, but instead, chose to praise the TEAM. Dear Caitlin Clark fans, through the first two games of the season, Caitlin Clark shot 3/16 from 3-PT range with 11 turnovers. The Coach had every right to call her out INDIVIDUALLY for her awful play, but do ya know what she did? She PROTECTED Caitlin. She spoke on the TEAM instead. She said that the TEAM needed to play better when Caitlin was actually the CAUSE of the TEAM losing against the Dallas Wings, just as she was also the CAUSE of the TEAM losing last night with her 10/28 shooting, poor defense, and turnovers. You can’t have it both ways. The Indiana Fever are a TEAM, and at the moment, they are a BAD team with an erratic starting PG. THAT should be your focus, as opposed to whether or not the Coach praised her INDIVIDUALLY after a 10/28 shooting night with poor defense and 4 turnovers that resulted in ANOTHER L. It’s the TEAM! "It is a very difficult question, because to be a great coach there are so many aspects… it is not only about tactics or results, it is about the human being as well. But on the other side, it is easier to say what makes a bad coach. For me, a bad coach is somebody who takes away the joy of the game from the players, who does not allow them to express themselves or make their own decisions. Especially at the level of development, the role of the coach is to give freedom, but not to control everything."

Let’s be respectful of the fact that we don’t know everything. That’s the receiver’s fault.’ How do you know?” “You weren’t in that meeting room. The game is chess. It’s not checkers.” “We look at the head coaches, but let’s look at the assistant coaches. To me, those are more important. I didn’t coach the players as a head coach. I coached the coaches.” “I wanted them to have that relationship with the player, not just me. If intervention was needed, I would intervene. This High School baseball coach sounds like has his hands full. I feel for him. He kicked this senior off the baseball team. Listen to the senior laugh and then try to degrade the coach. When asked why he was kicked off he said the reason was they took him out of the game (for who knows what) and they didn’t speak to him about it. So, he got on his phone in the dugout and was texting with his mom telling her to not bother to come to the game. Everyone knows you aren’t to be on your phone in high school during a game. Just by listening to the student and also the fact the coach had an officer present, I can tell what I already need to know. Sounds like the coach is trying to turn a program around. Do you think the coach made the right decision? Context is everything I know, but listening to him, can’t you kind of gather what the issue is? Who thinks this is exactly what is wrong with our younger generation?
