I’ve always said this. The govt is involved. It was involved since the begging. George Washington was the 1st one to set up state lottos. They let a few win to keep the “sheep” happy. But the huge jackpots. It’s always someone in the gov that wins. And not to mention the taxes they get off the winnings. It’s a win win for them.
