Retaliatory action's a tricky beast, innit? I'm curious, Minister - what's the plan to ensure our own businesses don't get caught in the crossfire while we're trying to protect them? We've got our own tariffs and trade policies that need sorting out before we start pointing fingers at America, if you ask me. Let's make Britain's economic priorities crystal clear: what's the real goal here?

Here’s what could get more expensive with Trump’s new tariffs.

Any chance of a Brexit impact study while you're at it might be useful right now!

@BBCNews Retaliation. What a losing reaction. It would be legitimate to analyze what is and isn’t fair but using terms like retaliate is infantile.

5% distribution Tax on EU, if they at 20% and we're at 10%, 15% is still a saving for them and easy money for us. 🤣

@BBCNews Don’t breakaway from this to bring us more Stammer sh!t he is going to fall on the local elections. He tries to fix it by delaying local elections HE MUST GO

Reynolds has one priority.

This useless guy!!! He barely had a proper job and has ZERO actual business experience, and he is #Labour's Business Secretary. What a clown show! Unfathomable.

@BBCNews #BoycottGoogle ?

Could start by rejoining the EU - strength in numbers

Kicking it into the longer grass. Possibly hoping to conclude a trade deal
