I asked Codex 5.4 to reverse engineer a DOS game with no source code. It’s been running for 6 hours, I can’t look away. It unpacked assets, disassembled the EXE, rebuilt the renderer, and built my childhood favorite SkyRoads in Rust! Now think of all the games we can revive.

Animal Crossing running natively on macOS, iPhone, and iPad for the first time. Not emulated. The original Animal Crossing for GameCube rebuilt as a native Apple Silicon source port. ACreTeam decompiled the game. The ACGC-PC-Port contributors got it running as native code. Encounter built Aurora, the generic graphics and platform foundation that can render GameCube-style games through Metal. Codex 5.6 Sol used that foundation to get the actual Animal Crossing game running through Metal, then built Bellpad around it: the Apple Silicon migration, macOS app, iPhone and iPad app, Files import, touch controls, controller support, save import/export, native text entry, and the IPA pipeline. I set the goal, did the research, and directed the testing and iteration. Full source and IPA below.

Built this in 2 hours 😂 I asked chatGPT to generate the 2d assets, used Tripo to generate the 3d version, then I used #threejs for the game dev. its just starting, a lot can be done here.

chan’s ending ment made me emotional stop😭 🐺 i’m glad we called it the ‘run-it tour’ because we’ve been running a lot from the start. it felt like we kept running and running and i’d like to thank the member for all their hard work. it’s because i have the members that i am happy. i can do it all. i feel like i can accomplish everything i want. thank you to the members for running along with me this far and to all the stays who taught us the right way.

Can't believe in less than 24 hours I created my own game with Claude and Three.js. Running in a browser at 120 FPS. All I had to do was give Claude the repo for Threejs and describe an MMO-like game for it to build from scratch. All the assets and mechanics you see are all from a prompt. As you can see, it is far from done but the progress is insane. Everyone should be using Three.js now without a doubt!

It’s incredible that you can let Opus 5 run for two hours in Claude Code and get a cinematic Three.js movie inside one HTML file. It created the story, scenes, transitions, camera moves, and procedural world. Higgsfield generated the narration, sound effects, and music. I mostly helped with references for more realistic grass, added the skills I use, and asked it to keep verifying its work. It’s all open source, so you can play with the code. I tested Rust vs Javascript for games 🎮 I had this question recently and decided to port my Three.js game to Rust Desktop I'm still not able to reproduce the same look on both games but I believe that codewise they are very similar With both games running, the Rust version averages 37FPS while the Three.js version averages around 20FPS If I'm running one game at a time the FPS goes up considerably (60 FPS on both with power on) So the Rust version for Desktop has 85% increase in performance on my Macbook Pro M4 This comparision is basically comparing Browser vs Native, which is not completely fair So that's why I want to port the Rust version to WASM on the browser and benchmark again soon

Pretty incredible You have to try the new '/goal' feature in Codex It worked for over an hour and built me an entire complex extraction shooter video game You give it a goal, then it works endlessly until the goal is complete. It's like a Ralph loop. Can run for days If you enable the image gen skill before you run the goal, it will even generate ALL the assets for your game autonomously. I didn't manually create ANY of the assets you see in the video Recommendations: enable the image gen skill, put on skip all permissions, and give the prompt as much detail as you can. It will accomplish ALL of it This has to be the sickest way to build games/ long running app tasks ever
