I asked Ryan Walters, Oklahoma State Superintendent, about a controversial video he's requiring students watch of him leading a prayer for President-Elect Trump, as well as the 500 Trump-endorsed Bibles he purchased for classrooms. Oklahoma ranks 48th in the U.S. for education.

The Founding Fathers wrote the constitution; not the Apostles. They added the Bill of Rights; not the Ten Commandments. Their intent was Freedom of Religion. It was not control by religion. They created a Democracy; not a Theocracy. Christianity is not a political party.

I appreciate your push back, but why did you not question him on how he can do this considering it is a violation of the 1A?????? That is the biggest issue here.

Pamela I don't know how you did it but you were fabulous in dealing with that man! He is just outrageous and rude! You were so professional and made excellent points.

6 million for Bibles that Oklahoma kids can't read because their schools rank so low in education. Maybe, spend the money for better teaching programs.

Thank you for holding the Oklahoma Superintendent to account. He is wasting tax payer dollars on the Trump overpriced bible. He came with a false argument of prayer in schools, role of Christianity, and tried to weave it into the constitution. Well done, Pamela!

I started teaching in Oklahoma in 2003. We were ranked around 15th-17th in the nation at the time, and other states were highly recruiting graduates from our colleges because of how well trained we were. The GOP took over here in 2008, and look at us now. He’s such a liar. 🙄

Ryan Walters is a grifter of the highest order, and the worst thing to happen to Oklahoma in a long time, and that's saying something. Thank you for holding him to task with your questions.
