This is insane! I support religious freedom but the government should not be promoting any specific religions.

Yeah it’s really absurd to me.

Being a Christian myself, I disagree with this. Education should remain secular to ensure it respects and includes everyone, regardless of their faith or lack thereof. Public schools should focus on providing a broad and unbiased education, free from religious influence.

I think the federal government should stop sending federal funds to schools that choose to ignore the 1st amendment.

Excellent! America was founded on Christian principles, which are deeply woven into its historical fabric. If individuals prefer other religious texts, they can find countries like India, China, or various Muslim nations that honor their own religious traditions. Similarly, America should respect its own heritage. While no one is being forced to read the Bible, its significance in American history cannot be understated.
