FSD although amazing is boring, thats not driving, thats being a passanger. Give me 600hp, rwd , and a manual transmission. The only thing getting the soul sucked out of it, is the pavement.

Real driving pleasure and control is in stick shifts transmission and not automatic. I miss my old Mazda Miata 1993 model and it was such fun to drive top down with it 😀; next generations I am sure don’t even know what a stick shift is 😓.

This is all preference … I LOVE driving, and hate when a vehicle is trying to drive for me. That being said I think FSD is essential in today’s world and will be great leading into the future. Do I personally want it on? Nope.

Forget UPL, it's the Devin's simple right hand turn that FSD needs to master first. I am blown away that software as good as FSD can make mistakes as simple but devastating as this. This is the second time in less than two weeks that FSD has tried to pull infront of a vehicle on a VERY SIMPLE right hand turn. The car drove pretty much flawlessly all day today (3~ hours of driving) but it ends the day with a move like this and it just takes all the confidence I have with FSD away in a simple move. I understand that the version of FSD we have today is not what will be used in Austin in June, but the fact that FSD is making decisions like this and 'full autonomy' is less than 3 months away - it's a bit concerning to me. Then I told it to take me to the Apple Visitor Center. Then the Tesla store. Then coffee at Starbucks. Using Tesla FSD and looking out at the road makes you realize that the majority of drivers out there are barely paying attention while they manually drive their vehicles. It is beyond frustrating that people do this, but the genie is out of the bottle now - I don’t think there’s anything society can do to convince people not to use their phones while driving. That is why self-driving needs to become the norm as soon as possible. Not only does it make YOU safer while using it, it makes it safer for everyone else on the road who is impacted by how you drive. I really hope insurance companies start to reduce rates for people who use autonomous driving features - I really think that would be a big motivator (money) for people to start using FSD.

People will never understand how transformative it is until they experience it firsthand. It removes all anxiety and road rage. My car drove me over 115 miles today. It parked, navigated downtown with pedestrians and traffic everywhere, then drove me home without me ever touching the steering wheel or pedals, all with just a push of a button. This is the future. I was the first Korean in the world to take a ride in a Tesla Cybercab, and I’m incredibly proud of that. 🇰🇷 You can probably tell from these raw, unedited videos just how excited I was getting into it for the very first time. Wanted to share… I most definitely am trusting FSD with absolutely any and every situation it is presented. Today’s drive was so crazy horrible conditions, You couldn’t see 5 feet in front of you. If you aren’t impressed by what FSD can handle by this video, I don’t know what will. I was driving back from trying to play a round of golf with my dad and it started raining and decided to head home. 50min drive. Here’s my first drive on Tesla FSD V14.2. For the first time on V14, I had zero hesitation or braking issues all day, and no interventions. From a driving perspective, and after 85 miles on and off-camera on V14.2 today, it now feels as comfortable, if not more so, than V13 did, but with all the capabilities of V14. What’s new in FSD V14.2: • Self-Driving stats section that tells you exactly how many Self-Driving miles you’ve driven and the percentage of FSD miles • You can now select speed profiles and parking preferences while in park • Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, leveraging higher resolution features to further improve scenarios like handling emergency vehicles, obstacles on the road, and human gestures • Big improvement (in my experience) to overall everyday driving comfortability • Slightly less strict attention monitoring at times In my opinion, V14.2 is good enough to be sent to every AI4 owner where FSD is legal, and for Tesla to encourage non-FSD owners/subscribers to try it. FSD did have a couple weird navigation decisions it made in my video, but that’s my only complaint. Overall, great version of FSD. 4K YouTube version of my video in thread below:

my new song “BREAKDOWN.” is out on the 21st of June!!! 🖤🖤🖤 I wrote this poem because it’s been the hardest year for my mental health. In my life I’ve always never felt good enough, it’s just the thing that’s eaten me up. For as long as I can remember i have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to fight the darkness that i inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to deal with it. To put it plainly the things I don’t like about myself will probably never change, people tell me one day I’ll come-to terms with them one day but I want that day to be FUCKING NOW. This song is a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and the world is so much bigger than me. Try and get out of your head and notice the world around you, notice the things and people around you. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. If you think you can’t do it, you can. You can get through this, trust me. Use this poem in a mornin to get u out of bed, use it when youre about to back out of something last minute, use it when you’re at your darkest. Driving through the mountains of Utah today, watching Tesla FSD handle the drive while I simply took in the scenery, I couldn’t stop thinking about where this is all heading. I really believe there will come a day when steering wheels, pedals, and even manually driving a car will feel as outdated as riding a horse to work or using a flip phone today. People will look back and wonder why we spent so much time stuck behind the wheel when technology could do it more safely and let us use that time for the things that actually matter to us. That’s why I think Tesla FSD is one of the most consequential technologies being developed today. It gives people their time back, reduces stress on long drives, and it enables a future with far fewer crashes & deaths. If autonomous driving reaches its full potential, which I believe it will, it will fundamentally change how we live, travel, and connect with one another. Sitting here while my Cybertruck drives through scenery like this, it feels like I’m watching the beginning of a massive shift in transportation and I bet future generations will wonder how we ever accepted driving ourselves anywhere.
