I build my first MacOS app called Tessera 📂 Think a document like a design system components where you just create/upload once and use in a different processes with version history, etc. Still pretty much in progress but excited for how it goes so far ✨

just dropped my first video in a 5 part series where we build a full travel planner app on Replit and i am so excited 🌍✈️ as a software engineer, design has always felt a little out of reach for me. like i had all these ideas in my head but turning them into something that actually looks good was a whole other skill set. but the Replit Canvas genuinely changed that for me. my favourite way to use the Canvas is to bring in reference images and websites to help me to create designs! in this first video we jump into the Canvas, explore design directions for our travel app, and apply a final look to a real working app. it is so fun i promise. go watch it and let me know what you think 🎨👇

The game's inventory and encumbrance system has since been overhauled pretty extensively to no longer focus so much on micromanagement but I still think this system has a lot of potential, and I'd like to revisit it somewhere down the line, maybe in a different project #gamemaker

You can't build iOS apps without a Mac, so we gave Devin one. Devin Cloud Agents now run macOS, with Xcode, iOS simulator, and your signing setup, all in a real macOS environment (with full computer use). In this demo, Devin builds a native iOS game, then plays and tests it with computer use. Devin then sends a screen recording of the gameplay along with a test report for my review. With Namespace you get as many macOS environments as you'd like, configurable with many major versions of macOS operating system and Xcode.

How to survive the Geophysical Event, from the worst-case scenarios to the less severe ones that involve only abrupt climate change and civilization collapse. There are suggested places for survival, budgets, how many people you are planning to survive with, what kinds of skills you need, how much food you need, what kind of food, water requirements, how to build a small community, where the closest place for survival is, etc... Are you interested in my app? I can finish it and upload it to my website, but bear in mind that today, almost anyone can create an app like this. You can even “vibe code” your own app...

I just launched a free App that lets you open Mac Apps…from your iPhone. And close them with a swipe. A much faster drag and drop. And a ton of more features in the pipeline. It’s called choclift and you really should try it out. Available for free in the App Store for iOS and macOS.

When I design an investment plan for clients, I like to walk through "expectations". Because the best investment plan is the one you can stick with. I built this interactive tool with Claude to help educate on different allocations and create more realistic expectations. Still a work in progress, but it's looking pretty good!

New open source project: Easel, a macOS workspace for AI-assisted product design and frontend iteration powered by the Codex SDK. Think of it as "Claude Design for Codex." It brings together a local project library, design-system setup, Codex chat, and a live web preview with a point-and-click inspector. Set up your design system however you like. Import one from Figma , bring your own, or have the agent generate it as a design.md. Then use it to build prototypes and slide decks. Codex-first, with Claude and other AI providers and local models planned for future releases. OpenAI Developers

💾 Made a DOS-style text-based user interface (TUI) today First app I made is Notepad (or should it be called EDIT.EXE?) and you can type in it and it has a localStorage-based file system with folders and everything! I wanted to create a BIOS for but it became this :D I really like these TUI interfaces, sometimes you still see them in shops or supermarkets when you pay Maybe I should make a whole SaaS biz with this interface?

Whenever I travel, I build a custom app that feeds in all my friends’ recommendations for restaurants, coffee shops, and things to do. I can literally just upload a screenshot of their recs, and it will plot all of them on an interactive map. It can also bookmark places, create an itinerary, see opening hours, etc. Takes about 5 minutes to do with Claude Code. By far my favorite use case for AI. This was the one I created for Copenhagen:

You should build your dream macOS app right now! The "Build macOS App" plugin in Codex is wild. Used voice dictation to build an app I wanted for a while in <7 min (+6 min of tweaking). Couldn't believe how quickly it was done. Prompt is in the video and in the tweet below.

"I had a FACEIT game the other day where I played with donk and I asked him what he thought of [Animgraph2]: He's not happy. But he's still destroying, so I don't think it matters for a guy like him" - @stavncs How are you finding Animgraph2 so far? 🤔

My Wife’s vibe coded her first app and here it is in action today She created a ticket and check in system for a charity event in Vietnam. Every existing system is fully online but a lot of the elderly in Da Nang don’t have phones or don’t know how to use technology. This app lets you design and print out physical tickets for distribution and then lets staff scan the ticket so that it can’t be reused. You also take a photo of the person and facial recognition makes sure people don’t slip back in line a second time. She is a product lead and a designer but has no engineering background. Vibe coding is not just about making MRR. It empowers everyone to build useful tools for the real world.

Guys, we need to talk about this. NOW! I’ve tested a lot of design tools - Paper , Replit ⠕ , Figma Make, and a few others in the same space, and honestly, there’s usually still a lot of struggle. But this feels different. You can start designing without any MCP connection, use an agent to help build the UX, edit directly on the canvas, and yes, it basically has the “Make it Pretty” magic button DANN© has been talking about for a while. And devs can actually work with it too. You can see the code right there. But that’s not even the craziest part. COMPONENTS! Actual components. I’m genuinely in shock. These guys are so good. Feels like the perfect time for a Contra challenge.

A lot of people asked me for the sources of the Three.js Conf Paris badge, so here they are : It's a very DIY project and far from perfect, but that's also what makes it approachable: everything can be rebuilt with a soldering iron, a 3D printer and a few cheap components. I tried to document it as clearly as possible, so you can either build it as is or use it as a starting point for something else. If anything is unclear, just write to me :)
